Find hotels near Xitou Nature Education Area in Nantou, Taiwan

The Xitou Bus has a stop at the hotel, so it was easy to get there. We took a family room for our family of three, stayed on the 10th floor and had a great view of the mountains from our room. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the Xitou Nature Reserve but it's great to take a walk up in the morning, takes about 30 minutes. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the Xitou Nature Reserve but it's great to take a walk up in the morning, takes about 30 minutes. The Nature Reserve was the highlight of the trip, with its beautiful forests and fresh air. The hotel provides some DIY activities e.g. painting and cookie making to keep guests occupied in the evenings. Our only complain is the service attitude of the staff: we went for our walk around lunchtime on our first day there and asked if she could drive us to carpark 2 where the eateries were located, but she was reluctant and claimed that traffic was busy there and not convenient to drive there, made us walk about 10 min to carpark 2 in the rain. Certainly not the kind of service we expect from Taiwanese hotel staff as we have had great experiences at different hotels during the rest of our trip.

The hotel may be the best choice in the area; however, you can tell it's aged. Location wise, it takes only couple minutes to Si-Tou which is really convenient for visitors. 4 of us stayed in a family room with reasonable size. The in-hotel restaurant serves only basic foods which doesn't worthy to pay for it. Kids playground is out of dates and not well maintained...The hotel may be the best choice in the area; however, you can tell it's aged. Services may be the best strength of this hotel as many staffs are very enthusiastic to somewhat off-set our disappointments. Overall speaking, I guess it was a nice hotel in old days but it's pity it doesn't be well maintained at present days.

Breakfast has variety, but quality is meh. On site restaurant was disappointing for dinner. Good choice if you'll be out and about most of the day .
