A cozy and warm place for traveling”
The owners run the B & B so well. They picked us up to the house. Room is big and clean and equipments are fitted.Breakfast is yummy. They even have bikes for guests. We took the bikes and enjoyed the beautiful river front scenery.

Relaxing and uber fun with the pets!”
We arrived later than expected, at 8pm at Ilancat Country House B&B. The receiving staff was very welcoming, and even offered drinks and snacks for us while we finish up the check-in. As we were staying just 1 night and the rooms were 3 storeys up, we were advised to leave our big luggages at the ground floor and just bring the essentials up to our rooms. We made a rather big mess at the dining area due to the bulk of our luggages (total of 2 families with kids) but they were very accommodating. We could even store our food stuff in their fridge. Morning breakfast was delicious and they willingly cooked 2 more portions of eggs for the kids. There were floral teas and snacks for our consumption whenever we liked. Highlight of the B&B has got to be the cats and the dog. Super duper cute and friendly (the dog). We even had one of the cats sleep on our bed with us, much to our delight. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Great Location and a very Warm Friendly B&B!”
firstly, the nice english country-like deco welcomes us warmly! the family pets cats and chi-huahua are our children's favourite. location is 10mins away from luodong night market which makes it very convenient and saves time travelling. iancat country house boss & family member (the yound boy) are extremely warm and helpful. the boss helped us plan our next day itinerary and arranged for a private taxi to bring us around. they charge at very reasonable price which surprises me as its much cheaper than in taipei. we also managed to take a short walk from this b&b to take river ferry to the art museaum which is one destination in yilan not to be missed. summary is staying in this b&b is convenient and comfortable. rooms are clean but the toilet may look a little run-down. nonetheless i have recommended this b&b to my friends who enjoy such beautiful b&b environment with great pets and helpful people!

Lovely B & B with friendly service”
The Ilancat Country House B & B is a charming place, with a lovely garden. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the house is very prettily decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the family room had two comfortable big beds and our children enjoyed playing with the owner's pets (cats and a small puppy). They also served a good breakfast.

5star! Excellent stay and great hospitality in Luodong, Yilan! ”
This bnb is very beautiful as per British style and their hospitality is awesome. Both exterior and interior of the house are same as per pictures shown in the website and every corner of the house are well decorated and I really like this bnb and their great hospitality!! It is so comfortable stayed here for 2N and it make me feel like home and the hosts are very friendly and nice although I traveled solo in Dec16 Christmas. Double room with attached bathroom is very clean, beautiful with free toiletries, free water bottles provided. Room equipped with TV, air cond, free wifi, slippers, table, chair, hangers etc.It is a very safe stay here. Host picked me up at Luodong train station when I arrive. Hosts are very helpful, from time to time recommend us on what to eat/to see/ to do in Luodong and Yilan, and always able provide good suggestions/recommendations for travelers. Host also send me to Luodong train station on the day I check out and travel back to Taipei.This bnb is 5min walk to Dongshan river park, which has an awesome scenery and great place to walk/relax/jog. Nearby to this bnb, there is a very famous steak house too-worth a try!.The free breakfast provided in this bnb is very yummy, healthy and wide spread. Like the pumpkin soup, toasts and fresh fruits the host prepared and their pet, QQ (the fury dog) was so cute and lovely. Overall, I had an awesome and lovely stay in this bnb. Definitely will be back and recommend this bnb to those travel to Luodong, Yilan. I gave two thumb-ups to this bnb hosts' for their great hospitality.

cozy homestay”
This b&b cant be compared to the newer homestays. Theirs is more towards the cozy homestay instead of a modern one. The hosts as well as the helper, were really friendly. always willing to plan the day's program and provided advicr. Enjoyed my chats with them. It is located near to dongshan park, which was nice. However i was there during the wrong time, it was raining and cold. Otherwise i would have rented a bike to explore the area and just spend a day at the park. There are 4 cats and a dog as well, really cute! The cats may even follow you into the room so if you're afraid of cats, you've been warned

Lovely cats”
the b & b is situated near the dongshan river park. it is faster to walk along a back path along the house to the river park which takes only 5 minutes. the surroundings are quiet and the view of my room (the top of the house) is spectacular. i could see a large fieldpad and the red bridge nearby. the cats there are lovely. you do not notice that one of them sneaks into your room and you can keep it as company. the breakfast is simple but nice. you are welcome to take self-help herbal tea. quite nice.

Very homely bed & breakfast minsu”
It is one of the most memorable stay we have in Taipei. The host of the guest house is very warm and friendly, and chats with you like a friend. Highly recommended to those who love to mingle with pets. The owner owns 3 cats and 1 chihuahua which are allowed to roam freely in the house, and may even visit you in your room! The owner recommended us to a cycling trip at a nearby park, which is a very relaxing cycling trip. He also recommend some nice delicacies around the area. Although the location is a little difficult to find, but the price is definitely affordable to all.

Friendly host”
Host was nice enough to help us book a good restaurant for our dinner during our short stay. The place was beautifully decorated and I would recommend sunrise room at the top level where there is a balcony too. Next time if you want to go to Yilan, just allow this kind host to plan all your itinerary for you =)

Cosy place”
Had a very bad encounter when check in to this B&B by a very unfriendly staff, however the male owner manage to fix and ease my uncomfort encounter and he plan a good itinerary for me and send me to the train station on day of check out, it's a good place if you like cats and country style B&B

Great service”
Minsu owner was so helpful to help us to arrange for our whale watching program within very short notice. They have bicycle and you can cycle to the nearest park Qin He Park. They have 4 cats and a dog. Personally I don't like cat but ilancat minsu cat's was so cute and elegant.

Horribly Musty Smelling Princess Room”
It wasn't cheap to take taxi in Yilan when travelling alone and buses were not easy to figure out without help. Most cab drivers know the hotel's name but in CHINESE. Please note! Hotel is lovely and cosy, and the 4 cats and 1 chihuahua absolute dears. Was assigned the princess room which is beautifully decorated, but on the top floor and damp and musty smelling in a truly truly awful way. On investigation, there were MUCH better smelling rooms in this hotel, so try to ask for a trade if you can! Otherwise the linen is clean, towels nice smelling and white, and the cosiness of the place was wonderful..

Weather is bad, too wet”
This is a lovely hostel, it fill full many cat decoration there and 4 lovely cats always surrounding you, staff and the hostel owner are nice.They always give you some good suggestion for travel around YiLan.The weather in YiLan is very wet, it's rainning all the day, I can't sleep at night since I was badly bitted by mosquitoes. I may suggest hostel to add a mosquito net in the room, that would be a great help !

Breakfast was simple, but it was fresh and nice. they can make vegetarian meal as well We love cat and dog so much so we were not care about this, bit smelled of animal in first floor but bed room was no smell at all Luodon was so nice to stay away from city life. so. relaxed and enjoyed! I'll come back here again

nice hotel with care”
We are staying in the top floor of the home stay. With very nice green paddy field view. They even have the balcony which you have your breakfast in the morning and enjoy watching star at night
