AMAZING Hotel/Hostel ”
I came back to stay for another 3 days. Amazing and helpful staff, very clean and modern design. A bit out of the way, about a 15 Minuit walk to Old Town but not an issue for me. Breakfast is Delicious. Eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, Thai food, toast, yogurt, waffles etc. They also offer coffee, water, tea, fresh juice all day “complimentary”. The staff was VERY helpful is directing me how to get places and helping determine where to go. A lot of international travellers and a mix of families, couples, friends and solo travellers. I loved my visit with ISTY

I’ll STAY AT I-STY AGAIN!”
We accidentally booked this hotel over another one in the area, and so happy that we did! Our doubts came from reviews of guests complaining that the bathrooms were too small, no dresser drawers, odd location, and/or the pool area being too noisy. It’s a boutique hotel, not a spa or retreat! If you want that, the staff will suggests a few places. Here’s what we loved... - STAFF was super friendly and helpful. They helped us with whatever we needed (sight-seeing / restaurant / shopping recommendations, taxi arrangements). - ROOFTOP BAR was a great place to meet staff and other guests (or drink alone while enjoying the festive views of Chiang Mai night life) - OPEN FLOOR PLAN lobby (pool, cafe, workspace, lounge) had a great vibe - not too festive, not too private. The only “problem” we had was the poor WiFi connection during peak hours, which we’ve had at other hotels. We loved ISTY so much, we’re returning to spend our last week there in Thailand!

Wow wow wow wow wow!!!!!”
OMG! This hotel is amazing.. it's modern, bright, clean and has lots of extra facilities.. Swimming pool next to the breakfast room so you can keep an eye on the kids whilst you have that all important first coffee of the morning. A separate coffee shop with great coffee, cake and cookies. Kitchen is next to the breakfast area and has a glass front so you can see the food being prepared.. A separate work area as well.. The hotel lobby is open plan and the staff were great. If you find yourself in Chiang Mai... Book a room here!!!!

Would recommend to anyone !!!”
The property is great, modern and well design. Bed was comfortable and clean. A short walk to Tops Supermarket , Korean BBQ restaurant and only 10 minutes walk to old city. The staff was super friendly and professional also give us a very good city tour recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with variety of selection. Would definitely go back to ISTY for sure.

From the check in (staff friendly and very informative) to the check out (they really do want to know what you liked and possibly didn't like). Room squeaky clean. Breakfast better than I expected. Didn't use the pool, but it looked ok to cool down in. Place has a warm, hip feeling about it. I'll return.

Great value hotel”
This hotel has great value for money. Stayed here for 10 days. Staff is friendly, good breakfast, the cafe attached to the hotel has great coffee. I enjoyed the neighbourhood, very local. Some rooms were a bit noisy; some construction going on, although they waited til after 9am. They changed my room though, very friendly. Did not try the swimming pool. Not so big, not really the place where I'd spend a few hours relaxing. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel very much!

Was assisted by the overwhelming , handsome and pretty couple hotel owner. Love the room, love the atmosphere, love the pool , love the breakfast , love everything of the hotel. Stayed 2 nights but felt like only 2 hours. We enjoyed ourselves very much especially my kids. Great location. Easily access to places we planned to visit. ‘Home’ is the only word I can express towards my stay at ISTY hotel Chiang Mai. U guys ROCK!

amazing accommodation! good for one or two traveler or even family with kids! breakfast are good! they even have free bottle of water in the fridge so you could just grab one and go! location is pretty convenient, 15 mins walk to famous one ninman market! and theres a food street open at night near by! i cant complain! i had some good memory with the hotel!

Highly recommend, would stay there again! Staff were so helpful and kind, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. Free water, juice, coffee/tea all day. Rooms were perfect size for three travelers.

I really loved this hotel ... I chose it primarily because it offers unlimited drinking water, tea, coffee and fruit - thank you Isty - I love you - especially for the free potable water when all the top end hotels provide only 2 x 350ml bottles of water per day! It has an elevator and reviews rated it highly. The staff are all young and friendly and I thought they were really tuned into the needs of the customers. Wonderful buffet breakfast! I am super-critical, my only complaint was the slippery soapy tiles in the shower which cleaning staff scrubbed on my second day when I asked them to.

Real gem of a hotel”
We were recommended this hotel by another family, and it surpassed all our expectations. Really well laid out, the family room was perfect for us (2adults and 2 children, 11 and 13). Very clean, run by a young but very capable team of staff. They were able to recommend days out for us which were brilliant, every time we were in the pool they came out with new inflatables for the kids to play on. Covid considerations are clear and sensibly maintained, free fresh coffee and tea all day. Excellent WiFi, great breakfasts, I can’t recommend highly enough.

Great place to stay!”
Isty Hotel is a great place to stay. We spent a week in Chiang Mai for our honeymoon and this is where we stayed. We wanted a hotel that wasn’t a hostel but wasn’t luxury either. We didn’t plan on spending a ton of time at the hotel. Pros- -Nice easy walk to old city. About 15 minutes. We walked everyday and it was no big deal. There’s a great coffee shop on the way called B+ Arch. - Free bottled water 24/7 - Great breakfast included with your stay - Rooms are minimalist style and clean. - The people at the front desk are really nice and helpful. - The hotel has a laundry service that’s 50baht. They clean and fold all our laundry, we did it the day before we left. Really nice! - Rooms are quiet. Can’t hear the rooms next door and can’t hear the neighbor buildings. Cons- -The bed is pretty hard. We still slept ok, but they’re hard. -There is no bed sheet. There’s a fitted sheet and the comforter. Thailand is pretty hot, even in the coop months, and it would’ve been nice to just have a sheet instead of a comforter. -The air conditioner only stays on when you put your keycard in a little holder. So whenever you come back to your room it’s hot. Not a huge deal, takes a few minutes to get the room cooled down. But again, Thailand is hot! In the end I would highly recommend if you want a nice hotel but you’re not going all out for luxury!

very pleasant stay, hotel is in good location a stones throw from the historic centre. Hotel is very stylish and staff were always super willing to book taxis and give great restaurant recommendations (an experience we didn't get at our next hotel!).

The facilities are excellent. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Nu is a very talented and very friendly chef. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Lovely & relaxing hotel”
Staff are friendly, special thanks to a handsome guy and beautiful girl at front desk who help me to check tour availability and bike rental. Swimming pool and breakfast are great, regretfully not have time to try their rooftop bar, will visit again next time with friends. My room located at 2nd floor and just above of front desk so might a little bit noisy in the morning (breakfast time) and the room cleanliness need to improve but not a big issue.

for young travelers outside the hustle and bustle”
the location was outside old town which was a refreshing change, suitable for young travelers as it is very casual, industrial modern and have all the basic you need, we use the local GRAB app to get around and its really affordable it was not a problem at all to get into to town. staff was friendly, helpful, efficient, the breakfast was a simple mix of western and local food (local food was delicious!), water cooler by the lobby was fantastic if you can recycle your bottles. room size was great for 3 of us traveling as a group, and there is a massage place around 7mins walk (or they can send a car to pick you up) which the hotel staff so kindly called and booked for us. would love coming back here again with friends!
