The owner actually drove to pick us up, and brought us to the area nearby to buy some dinner. Because the farm homestay is up a hill, it would be necessary to buy your own food before heading back to the homestay farm. If you have your own car or are able to rent a motorbike (you would have to have a license), it is not too far from the Sun Moon Lake. If you are heading back to the farm after sunset, you might have to take extra caution riding up the hill though, because there are quite a few twists and turns. After arriving at the farm, the owner brought us to see the rabbits and allowed us to feed and even carry them. There were also goats and chickens on the farm. On our first night, the owner took us out to see a sea of lights at the dragon fruit plantation on the farm, followed by star gazing at the open area above the barbecue area, which was really beautiful. The farm owner is an old uncle who is really friendly and fatherly, and really eager to show us his old but treasured possessions. Among some of the things he showed us, was a few-decade-old music tape and vinyl disc player (still in working condition). The main restaurant and entertainment area is simple, but with a mini pool table, karaoke, among a few other things. Breakfast is prepared by the staff every morning, and the staff were nice enough to even ask if we wanted other breakfast options that the boss could buy. Breakfast included vegetables, eggs, and also toast with tangerine jam made by the owner. Drinks wise, you can choose from hot coffee, or hot tangerine drink. The owner would play music from the player, and the sound quality was as good as live. Just behind the restaurant block, is an area where you can have a stone barbecue session too. The bungalow is rather spacious, and with a water dispenser, television, computer, hair dryer, and refrigerator. Outside the room, is a veranda, and the staff would also come by in the evening to light mosquito coils.

The kind granfatherly owner, Mr Li took really good care of us, Could feel his sincerity and he treated us like family. He showed us the temple that had been damaged by the earthquake. He also bought some strawberries for my kids even though they were pricey this year and treated us to some fruits from his farm. My kids loved the animals and were happy to play with the rabbits. The little hut we stayed in had a nice woody scent. Loved it ! Will stay here again for the warmth of the people, the charming huts and the animals.

我們住的十人屋非常大, 農場養有兩隻羊, 幾隻鵝及幾十隻兔子等等, 可以喂食, 孩子們非常喜歡。環境非常清靜, 十足的郊外環境, 晨旱四時多便有鷄啼, 而且是很多的一隻接一隻。

超值住宿小木屋，農場有小動物，清靜優美，房間設施太豐富。只是出外玩要靠民宿接送。”

地點有點遠，但民宿派車到火車站接送已可解決，為了夢寐以求的農場小木屋，在集集鎮少玩了時間也值得，因為在農場看白兔，羊咩，山雞，閒逛了一會。真想住多幾晚。 房間超大超正，絶不欺騙，是真正的獨立小木屋，有熱水爐，空調，飲水機，電腦，wi-fi，豪華淋浴花灑，大衣櫃，梳妝檯，還有大沙發，大檯，房外有露台及戶外檯椅。全屋連露台有防蚊網。 民宿沒晚餐供應，原先安排派人代我們取行李，吃飯後再來接我們，但老闆出來接我們，建議我們買食物回農場一起吃，亦可以自煮，感覺很親切。於是買了甕虹雞，雖然最後沒有一起吃，但很幫忙斬雞借碗筷。 農場有野橘，自製橘汁橘醬，很好味，我買了一小樽。 臨走時，我也在房內的Diary寫了住宿經驗，略看了別人寫的日記，感覺農場持續改善，亦提供了優美環境給住客。 最後一提，我們吃不完一隻雞，整晚也沒螞蟻蟑螂，可能木屋可驅蟲？一步入房間即聞到樹木香味，衣櫃好像是檜木造的？ 很好。

也是看到评价不错，而且刚好需要乘坐集集线从这里周转，才会选择这里的。台湾的农场和木屋很整洁，柏油路也是一尘不染的，不像大陆的农家乐很多土很脏很简陋。设施还是很齐全的，吹风机电冰箱和电脑一应俱全，还是很惊喜的，说明老板是用心在经营。毕竟我们在台湾15天，在很多台北的酒店里都没有冰箱。只是房间里的台式电脑是坏的，虽然我们并没有用到。 预定的时候写到因为害怕农场蚊子多，以及希望老板给我们安静的房间，老板很贴心的在门口放了一盘蚊香，而且给了我们一间最僻静的房子，所以还是很惊喜的。 洗漱用品都是一次性的，而且很齐全，唯一感到遗憾就是卫浴有一些不够整洁，水渍很多，有一些黄黄的印记，还有一些油点，很多卫生死角，掀开床铺还有头发。。。。无论如何在小镇上这已经算非常好了，只是我们都希望老板做的更好。 老板很nice，会去集集车站接我们，带我们买一些简单的晚饭，给我们看他从山上捡回来的猫头鹰，告诉我们可以喂兔子等等。因为我们入住时已经很累，晚上没有出去逛逛农场里，第二天一早6点多就出发去集集车站了。老板很好，一大早就开车问我们有没有在小镇上逛一逛，我们很遗憾的说没有，老板说从这里去车站只需要6分钟，那我刚好开车带你们转一圈！！于是带我们去看了921大地震时候坍塌的庙宇，又陪我们在车站等了一车，还给我们介绍了一下车站和侩木，觉得还是很贴心的。 如果要去日月潭、阿里山或者乘坐集集线去二水、嘉义，建议要来这里住一住！！

到了集集镇，可以给老板打电话，老板很热情会来接你。整个集集农场的环境也相当不错，小朋友可以在这边和小动物玩耍，大人也可以在这片优美宁静处完全放松，早餐也相当不错。总之老板热情的不要不要的，超级赞，觉得值得一试。。。。
