The perfect place to rest and enjoy the sea. A beautiful resort. Has been there for 20 years or so, so surrounded by mature, beautiful trees, plants and flowers. Right on the sandy, clean beach, superb little bungalows, great, large, comfortable rooms in the main building, a fabulous bar, very good restaurant with outside seating amongst the orchids and palm trees, massages on the beach, child friendly, wonderful staff, varied and delicious breakfast. Nothing to complain about ! Absolutely wonderful and good value for money !

Best beach side resort in Kae Bae”
The amazing sandy beach that belongs to the resort makes this resort top rated. It also has a great terasse a restaurant and a bar to enjoy the fabulous sunset every day. It has a very chilled style, mostly families and couples rather relaxed. Breakfast was decent, a wide choice of everything. Rooms in the main building are large and comfy they keep them very clean. On the critical side we could see that the resort has had its better days before but this didn't take away anything from our great stay here.

One of our best stay!”
My husband and I were looking fir a quiet location, away from all the parties and loud people. This was the perfect place. We stayed at the beach front bungalow right at the beah, few steps away from the beautiful sea. We woke up and fell asleep with the sound of the waves, watched the sunset and just basically lived on our porch! Rooms were very clean (it was cleaned every day) and there was everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and professional! We will definitely stay at this resort again.

Awesome stay”
Can't complain about anything. The price vs what u get is definitely equal. Breakfast buffet (Thai, European, American) it's fresh and very well prepared. Swimming pool is big but not so deep, it was clean and quiet. Kai Bae is small town but I had everything I need. Grocery stores, lot of restaurants, bars, shops, motorbikes. Wifi is strong enough for working remote, they cleaned my room everyday so it was fresh. Room is spacious and with balcony to the sea view. If I will stay here again? Definitely. I want to stay her wonky two nights but it was so good that I extended for a week.

Loads to choose from in the restaurant for lunch and dinner, the buffet breakfast could have more selection but it works for me. There's also a good selection of restaurants or on the road. The rooms are very comfortable however the pillows are a little iffy (picky much!). The gardens are really well kept and it's right on the beach, which is quite narrow so grab a spot early! All in all this was a great find. 👍👍

Lovely hotel but.......”
Everything was good , the cleaning staff and grounds staff deserve a pay rise they are fantastic. The kitchen staff on the other hand need more training sitting on their phones in view of the customers is unacceptable in my standards especially when the food needs topping up for breakfast i am a chef for over 20 years and i know that some of the food left out for breakfast had been used many many time so definately not fresh for example bread was stale for toast , pancakes definately been used many times, the chef making the eggs smelling the eggs before using led me to believe they mixed old with new therefore had rotten with fresh. There was 2 waiters that i was happy with was the young boy and a girl they seemed very polite and worked hard. The dogs in the restaurant definately need to be removed full of scars from fighting and mange on the skin. Only 1 dog which i made friends with i can accept because it was very friendly was the brown one with cataracs almost blind i think belongs to the hotel , something definately needs to be done with the other dogs as sometimes they had serious fights outside our bungalow many of which probably had diseases not nice especially when children are around i didnt feel safe around these dogs. We wont return here unless something is done about the several wild dogs left roaming around and the breakfast needs some attention

Great staff, clean, massage on the beach”
We just loved this hotel!! Literally 10 meters from the beach where you can enjoy the famous Thai massage. The breakfast was also amazing, lots of choices. The staff was very friendly. They cleaned the room every day, provided clean towels & fresh drinking water. Next time we'll stay here again.

Incredible locatoin, right on the beach, quiet, serene. ”
I love this hotel. I spent 5 nights here. Got an upgrade to a beachside bungalow as the place was empty due to global crisis. The staff is attentive and friendly. The location is amazing, right on the beach, and very quiet. It's really a beautiful paradise and no need to go anywhere can just relax on the beach, bar, restaurant pool. Wi-Fi is great was working from the restaurant and bungalow no problem via laptop. Aircon is new and hums very cool. bed is not amazing but decent and had great sleeps. Will definitely come back. This place is a hidden gem on Koh Chang.

Low key and relaxing for young professionals not looking for a party”
KB Resort’s location is absolutely amazing, that alone was worth the price. The bungalows are slightly dated but still spacious and comfortable. Most other guests are families or older folk, but that was perfect for me as I wasn’t looking for a rowdy trip. Restaurant’s food is quite high quality (I only ate Thai food, however, why eat anything else while you’re here?) and you get an amazing view while dining. The grounds are clean and quiet, and the garden is tranquil while walking to the beach—which only takes all of 30 seconds. The staff was willing to help and provided great service, although at times at the restaurant they did not seem super enthused and bubbly as you might get in America, so please don’t hold that against them because at the end of the day they did a fantastic job, and you can tell they work very hard. If ever, and hopefully sooner rather than later, I return to Koh Chang, I will absolutely be staying with KB Resort again.

Pretty, cheap hotel!”
The hotel was located on a beautiful beach. The rooms were clean and well looked after. Small resort so not over crowded. Breakfast had a good selection and other food items were delicious. Beach bbq was great! Really good value for money, stayed in other more expensive hotels nearby and didn't compare to this one!

Ideal for a family with children. Ours are 9 and 11. Comfortable rooms, great beach. Fun swimming pool. Good restaurant. You are bound to see Elephants on the beach. We felt very comfortable and had all the facilities we hoped for.

Gem of a place”
The beachfront bungalow was amazing. The main block accommodation looked really good too. Staff so unobtrusive, never felt pressure to do anything but always knew the team were there if you needed them. Location to die for. 8 steps from the beautiful beach and sunset. Food lovely and cannot complain about anything. We have stayed in supposedly 4/5 star accommodation on this trip but this 'supposed' 3 star rivalled if not surpassed them. Would definitely return

I spent almost a week in a seaview bungalow which was very nice and clean, the garden was beautiful. The beach was really nice but sometimes it was tangly, the breakfast was really delicious, the staff was really kind and helpful, I would recoommend to anyone :)

Pleasant hotel in a beautiful garden with very good breakfast.”
The hotel is just a few meters from a private beach in a beautiful garden full of palm trees and flowering shrubs. We stayed 1st week in room in building and 2nd week in bungalow. The room is larger with a beautiful view, the bungalow is beautifully set in the garden with a beautiful sitting on the terrace. At the hotel there is a beautiful swimming pool, above the pool we took the opportunity to get massaged. Breakfast is served both in the building and in the garden, it is very rich with plenty of fruit. Cleaning every day. The hotel is a bit more expensive, but it will compensate for its unique location and excellent breakfast.

Picturesque setting with thoughtful and helpful staff. We stayed in a twin villa which was comfortable and within ocean view. KB Resort was a wonderful choice for our first visit to Koh Chang.

Pros - reasonable tariff, good rooms and furnishings in lung deck and lounge. Bar and food good. Internet good but got sick of re-connecting (should make it last a couple of days or weeks as annoying) Pool good and beach child safe with elephants bathe everyday was great. Close to shops and restaurants. Recommended

Great for families with small children ”
Spacious rooms, king size bed and comfortable bunk bed, beautiful garden with a small child playground area and excellent pool (with a slide that children appreciate), right on the beach. It gives you the sense of privacy, the resort area is not crowded, although main street that runs just behind the resort offers a variety of restaurants, shops, faraway, laundry service and some souvenir shops. Breakfast could be improved (not many options, lacking fruit), there are no sun beds on the beach.
