Kinnaree have 3 locations so you may not stay in the guest house as shown. We stayed in rooms above a shop. These rooms were a little better than the guest house rooms. The rooms are small but have a double bed, hanging space, TV, small fridge and shower bathroom with HW shower. So adequate but basic. The male receptionist speaks really good English. We have stayed in better for a cheaper price but this is Koh Phi Phi. The location is pretty central with plenty of eateries at hand. The little Isaan restaurant near reception is a gem.

Extremely noisy central location”
From arrival and check-in we felt no great customer service that you would normally find in Thailand. Extremely noisy at night until 2am - impossible to sleep and/or rest due to pubs around playing loud music. And when no music, the noise from water pump that was located just outside our window, was irritating too. In the room we found about a dozen mosquitoes, despite nets on the windows. Because window frames had gaps for them to enter... Also hundreds of ants were staying with us in the room as well. Sometimes water from tap was dark brown color and smelled bad. Hot water not always available - not needed to adults, but for baby I expected as per hotel description, to have hot water available at all times. Safety box indicated low battery, so to avoid issues, we did not use it. Only one operational wall socket, so you need to choose if it is fridge or TV or your phone. ot recommended for family travelers.

Dirtiest place I have ever stayed”
Upon arrival I got to the 3rd room before I reluctantly accepted the room. It was the best of what they had left. If I was stopping for any more than 2 nights I would have found somewhere else. The place needs new bedsheets, curtains, towels and a clean paint and new shower and air conditioning

Do Not Go Here!!!!!”
First of all, a cockroach ran across my boyfriends chest and then when we lifted up the sheets there were MORE BUGS IN THE COVERS. The sheets look liked they’d not been washed, they didn’t smell clean and had yellow stains. I have stayed at places for cheaper and had a much better experience in Thailand. Do not go here. Spend $10 extra dollars and go anywhere else!! Biggest mistake of our trip.

Good place for a couple of nights”
Hotels in Phi Phi island are pretty and still more expensive than in other places in the region. Kinnaree was very OK - clean small room with AC, TV, fridge, warm shower, helpful administrator. Location is perfect - it's right in the middle of the island so everything is reachable within ca 10 minutes (basically everything is close in Phi Phi): the pier, the beach with parties, access to the viewpoint. In the beach it's probably impossible to sleep as there is loud music. In Kinnaree you can sleep in piece after coming home from a beach party. There's also nice Stockholm bar just 3 minutes away, so you don't have to go far, if you wanna party. Right next to the hotel there's a 7/11 and pharmacy, 5 minutes away 2 Papaya restaurants (most delicious Thai food I ate), street market, bucket sellers (150-200 baht, you'll understand what I mean when you reach Phi Phi), ATM & bank. They don't have a restaurant but at nights you can get tasty chicken just in front of the hotel. They didn't have any glasses in the room but when I asked, the guy in the reception instantly gave me these. The guy also gave us an overview about the island and activities - helpful guy. You should definitely visit the smaller Phi Phi (where The Beach was shot) and monkey beaches on the way there (beware of the sneaky monkeys - they can attack you in gangs to get some food), go snorkeling. Maybe one downside was, that they didn't meet us in the pier with a trolley to carry our bags to the hotel, but probably just a few hotels do and it's a really short walk (5-10 min).

Good for Koh Phi Phi”
my first hotel in koh phi phi was half the price and completely disgusting. although this is a little pricey for what you get, i think in general koh phi phi is expensive. from what i could tell it was worth the price. right in the middle of everything, comfortable bed, hot watr. i was very comfortable and felt very safe. i left my passport and the staff mailed it to me at my next hotel! i would definitely recommend this.

Clean rooms great place”
Kinaree resides up an alley away from the main street. But it's still very much within walking distance to the beach . The clean beds and free wifi are a major plus point. Each room has got it basic facilities , air con , a fridge and a relatively clean bathroom. It's not much , but it'll suffice . Given the awesome rates , i guess its the best one can actually find . The friendly staff can give you awesome tips and info regarding phi phi. Feel free to ask em questions. The house is pretty close to the Reggae bar , irish pub , and there are couple of local food joints just within walking distance . In summary , I guess this was a great find , for the price i was getting. Worth a stopover , if you're heading to phi phi.

Good little hostel, everything u need on a budget”
The room is as described, air con, fridge, safty deposit box and private bathroom altho the room itself is very basic. We looked around before booking and found this the best value for money. We arrived early, about 5 hours early and they did their best to get the room ready for us early so we actually checked in just under 2 hours after arrival. There is no restaurant but there are loads of places to eat nearby it doesnt need one. Phi Phi is a really small island and pretty much everywhere is within walking distance including the pier. Kinnaree House is a 5-10 min walk from the beach and really easy to find as there are helpful people at the pier handing out maps.

Kinnaree House is a good choice for you if you are budget-conscious. The room is quite comfortable if you don't have high expectations,especially when you realize you can have a room at this price on Phi Phi. Plus, it is location made it convenient for you to catch the boat, enjoy the night life and have a beach walk.

Great Location, Next to 7-11 and Papaya Restaurant”
great wifi, 7-11 next door and we ate at papaya restaurant and the other eateries surrounding this guesthouse.i lengthened my stay to a week after trying 1 night. it was a great change after i left another horrid hotel.cheap, free and stable wifi, great location! i learnt the lesson that if you are on phi phi island, it's safer in the crowded areas than the far and quiet ones.

Central, Comfortable and Surprisingly quiet”
Our stay was perfect for what we wanted. It did seem overpriced for what it was but this seems to be the standard on Koh Phi Phi. The location was amazing as we were right in the heart of the village a short walk from everything. The staff were brilliant, we booked a tour with them and when our pick up did not arrive they took us themselves. Overall we had pleasant stay.

Great price - good aircon/shower”
phi phi island are amazing, we had a small room but with shower and aircon! $36 bucks per day for the room are quite cheap, i couldnt find cheaper, however, it was nice. in phi phi youll find a lot of people from us, uk, aus and europe and they speak english very well. the people from the island think they speak english but they dont (hehe). i had some problems trying to communicate with the staff, but to be honest, small problems if you compare to the rest of thailand. i recommend 100%!!!

Clean, small and good location.”
We stayed there for four nights and had no complaints. It was cleaned everyday, near tons of restaurants, had hot water, a tv and ac and it was located between both beaches, about a three minute walk to either. Easy to find once you get to Phi Phi and staff was nice.
