Amazing location beautiful spacious bungalows!”
Our favourite place on Koh Tao for sure. Nung the owner and his wife (whose name eludes me) are super friendly and helpful. The resort must be in one of the best locations with the nicest beaches on the island. We did check out everywhere else on the island and this place takes the cake for sure!! We will be back...

Great little resort at the end of Mae head. This end of the beach reminds me of what Koh Tao use to be like before the masses of diver jocks ruined the place.... Would Defo recommend

Brilliant”
Very welcoming and upgraded us as they weren't busy. Very large rooms with fridge and nice porch. Rented bike there for a 200 Baht, cheaper than in town and good bikes - also wont try and rip you off with scratches ect. Very quite and peaceful, can walk to bays around the south or easy walk to main beach.

Worth the money”
It's a great place for a number of different reasons: very close to piers, (walking distance), hidden from caothic island life but essentially at the ocean, simple check in and dealing with hosts, bike rental opportunity for good price and wifi plus a nice lounge area. Recommended.

Horrible, way over-priced”
To say that the Koh Tao Beachside Resort is a ripoff is an understatement. If it were 500-800 baht (around $20 give or take)/night, I'd have no complaints. That's about what it's worth, even in Koh Tao. But it wasn't. We stayed there for four nights (UGH!) because the hotel we were at for the first two nights was fully booked, and the only other options available were the very high-end places for huge bucks. The good: Near the beach; cute looking bungalow from the outside; air-con worked; a bed; hot water shower; two towels; a hammock on the porch; wi-fi that worked to some degree, but slow and sporadic. What you'd get at the least expensive hostel (maybe not the beach). The bad: That's all you got, nothing else. Hard bed, which you may not mind. A fitted sheet with something like a large beach towel over it, no top sheet. Bare bones bathroom, functional at best. The staff never entered the room after we checked in. Nothing cleaned or changed in four days. You could exchange towels if you sought them out and asked. You could get more toilet paper the same way. Down on the beach, they provided four marginally useful old chairs for their customers. That's all. The two people who ran the place seemed to do little, other than sweep leaves away and sit at the check-in desk looking very bored. To top it all off, after spending over $300 for very little, the woman wanted to charge us 100 baht for 5 bottles of water from the little fridge. That was the one time anyone bothered to go into our room to check on anything. The place we stayed in initially was $60/night, beautiful, room cleaned and new towels, etc every day, a beautiful pool, and a breakfast buffet beyond description. I suggest you bunk on the beach before you pay their exorbitant fees--which I believe they get only because other places are fully booked.

A great place to start Koh Tao adventure”
The place is located near the pier, so you can drop off your things, sit down and find out what to do with your life from now on. We wanted to stay 1 night, check the island out and maybe find something better but we were so satisfied we stayed 5 nights. It has all you need - fridge, access to town and beach, clean room, balcony. The bathroom was acceptable - basic and with flickering light, sometimes it was hard to ventilate to get all the moisture out. Really good quality to price ratio.

Perfect bangalow”
This place was so amazing and I am not sure what more you can ask for from a bungalow. It was only about 10-15min walk from the main pier, though the surrounding area was so breezy and quiet. Our bungalow was equipped with aircon and fan but we did not use it at all. We bought the mosquito coils which worked really well, and kept our room smell great. The shower worked well and there was a clean fridge in the room. There is no WIFI in the room. It was so great to detach ourselves from the internet and SNS. It's a tiny island and the local people are usually extremely nice. Instead of googling, we've asked around then ended up in very dreamy places everyday. The massage spa is really nice. We went there everyday. (We did not try the food at the restaurant. there are too many places around!)

the hotel is beach front,very nice simple clean well sized rooms with 2 balconies one in front an another one on the back where you can enjoy the nature. Near by shops and restaurants. You can rent moto from the hotel and fins as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Very good”
Resortet ligger 5 mins gang fra havnen, og få hundrede meter fra Songserms mole (den billige og lidt langsommere færge). Stranden er lille og hyggelig, har en fantastisk solnedgang, og der spilles live musik i strandbaren om aftenen. Resortets personale er super flinke, og de har en lille butik hvor man kan købe drikkevarer, og aflevere vasketøj. Resortet har ingen restaurant, men deres nabo Royal Resort laver en god morgenmad. Lige efter Songserms mole ligger 'moonlight restaurant', hvor de griller friske fisk om aftenen til næsten ingen penge. Kan varmt anbefales :)

Close to the pier, shops, food and bike-rentals, beach has a secluded feeling and is gorgeous (maybe 70meters from our doors, the room simple, spaceous, staff was very relaxed and pleasant, mostly form Myanmar and very eager to show me some customs of their own inspite the language barier.

It was ok. Had no breakfast as it said it included and no bedsheets. The rest was fine. Hot shower, ac, etc. But it is a hostel and not a beachside resort.

Comfy stay, good location, ”
checked into the hotel smoothly at night time, and needed an anniversary cake. This hotel did not have any staff, but the next door neighbor hotel with the Aussie owner and very courteous staff who went out of their way to accommodate me on our first night there. Cause of them, I managed to give my wife a surprise anniversary gift!! They also had great breakfast.
