One of my 2 favourite places on Koh Tao. The staff is so accomodating and friendly. Let you check in early if a room is available, smiling, changed one of our rooms for higher floor pool is stunning and in 1 minute you are in the town center. The beach in front is clean and beautiful and you can hop in a longtail to go round the island. FANTASTIC

Staff is very friendly & supportive. rooms are clean and spacious. Pool is great and the hotel is located near diving schools and has direct beach access. its not Sairee main beach (seperated through rocks), so its quiete and relaxed. it was very quiete in january, so not all services were offered. I didn't tested the restaurant..

Excellent hotel with good service”
Service is limited due to covid19 situation but the receptionist lady is doing all she can to make sure our stay went well. Room is clean, big and nice. Swimming pool is big. The beach has coral reef for snorkeling.

Love this place!”
The resort was exactly what we wanted. It had a big pool area where Tauyo kept us happy with our drinks! It is very clean with comfy beds. It is close to town as well as close to restaurants along Sairee Beach. There is a road behind the resort which is easy to follow and you can find many places to eat and drink. The staff is very welcoming especially Bird as he made us laugh everyday. The beach is set up for dinner during the sunset. Loved it here!!

Everything great but the bathroom sink”
This is a great hotel with a wonderful staff, nice location and great facilities. My only issue was with the large ugly bathroom sink which was the size of an industrial sink but made out of concrete. Perhaps they thought people would be washing clothes or doing baptisms in it. It's not a big problem just something they need to replace in the future with a more normal sink and spacious counter. Overall Montra was in a great location, near town but not too close. I recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, close to pier, beaches, restaurants, etc. Beautiful hotel, big, well appointed room. Very good value. The restaurant/bar is overpriced and not very popular, but there are plenty of better choices within 300 metres.

We had a very warm welcome from the hotel stuff. They were always kind and ready to help. Our hotel room and especially the bed was extra spacious - awesome! Breakfast was delicious and the pool was large and clean. There was also a pool bar with cocktail happy hours in the afternoon. The hotel offers diving and snorkeling tours, a gym and massage. I can warmly recommend this hotel.

Great resort! ”
This is a beautiful resort with great facilities and very friendly staff. The entire resort was clean and the location is perfect. We had a couple issues with our room but for the most part it was very clean, very big and the bed was the comfiest we’ve had so far after two weeks in Thailand. We actually booked an additional two nights after we arrived because it was so enjoyable. Our only complaints was that the WiFi was terrible and the doors and windows are very thin so we could hear a lot of noise from behind our room (the back of the restaurant) and from the pool area because our room was ground level, and the A/c unit was pretty noisy. But overall I highly recommend this resort! We would definitely come again.
