If you love having breakfast, this is a good place. They make fresh croissants for their guests! Plus it is near firenze station and city center. I managed to roam around because of the convenient location. Just make sure though to notify the property of your arrival time so someone can wait til you check in.

The B&B is located at a quiet neighbourhood but it is very close to city centre and Firenze SMN station. The staffs are friendly and they will help you carrying your luggage upstairs. The breakfast is simple but good. I had a wonderful stay here.

property is a bit off from city centre but with convinient access to public transport, just a minute walk and 2 stops to central station by tram. room is so homey with necessary aminities. the staf is very welcomed, helpful, attentive and informative.

I didnt like the entrance smells but the hotel inside very clean. But if anyone used the car i dont recommend it because very difficult to find even a paying parks and free parks doesnt exist

Didn't have a good experience staying there. First of all, it is located on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. I don't know why most of the buildings in Italy are so old-fashioned. If you are carrying lots of luggage or at least 2 big suitcases, the two-floor staircases would be a problem for you. This is not all, it was super hot around 40 degrees in the Florance and Air conditioner was not working--phewww. Had to sleep in that hot weather without a fan or AC. Please check the amenities with the staff before booking anything otherwise it could be a waste of money.

Dear guest, thank you for your stay at Le Ghiacciaie and also thank you for taking the time to leave a review. But I have to make some clarifications with respect to what you wrote. Florence is a very old city and many buildings in the historic city center were built in the Medieval Age and the Renaissance Age, between 500 and 1000 years ago. Your observation that there are no elevators speaks for itself. You could have stayed on the outskirts away from the center in a nice modern building and you would have also had an elevator. The air conditioning works, and how it works well. I've been on the phone for long minutes with you trying to explain how to use the remote. Finally I sent someone who solved the problem for you in a few minutes. Please don't write things that aren't true - you slept with the air conditioning keeping you cool the whole time. It is really annoying for us who work hard to please our guests to read things that are not true. Thank you so much again

Dear Jesus, reading your review raises doubts about your stay at Le Ghiacciaie. Fourth floor? Where have you been? Regarding breakfast, the rules have changed following the covid emergency, so it is no longer served in the common area, but a basket is left in the room with sweets, croissants and biscuits, jams, nutella, kettle with various types of hot drinks to be able to prepare yourself (tea, coffee, ginseng, cappuccino and much more). Then, did you look in the fridge in the room? What about toast bread in the kitchen? Our page on Agoda say "Le ghiacciaiae Bed and Breakfast", did you read it? We honestly regret reading untrue things and seeing so much gratuitous contempt. Fortunately, just read other reviews to get a precise idea of the B&B Le Ghiacciaie. Thanks B&B Le Ghiacciaie

Clean rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff”
We feel very comfortable staying at Le Ghiacciaie. The breakfast is simple and delicious. Although there is no lift to the building but the owners came down to help us with the luggage. Owners are flexible with check in and out timing! Room is clean and spacious (in our standard). Recommend to anyone looking for a value yet comfortable stay!

Good value for money close to train and walking distance to the beautiful city of Florence. Comfortable clean and spacious room in a neighbourhood which is currently being refurbished. There is no lift in the building but the host carries bags up and down from apartment. Near train line but surprisingly no noise. Continental breakfast, fantastic coffee, fantastic host.

Homely B&B and warm welcome ”
Friendly and very helpful staff. Felt very welcoming to Florence city. The B&B is at the 3rd top floor, staff will help you to carry your luggage which is great. Wifi is good and they guided us through to the outlet and siena city and how to take bus. Only aircon you need to be patience to warm up. Very clean and neat. It's near to the train station so a little noise but it won't interrupt my sleep.

It’s on the opposite side of the station. Not so close to the center. But it’s good for saving money. FYI, I didn’t know to inform the host before I arrived. And the host being really nice to come get us in 10mins. Breakfast is the same at all days but coffee is really good.

The location is perfect to discover the innercity as everything is in walking distance. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, everything was clean and well maintained. Filippo is a great host; very friendly, helpful and ready to give advice and insider tips. We used the parking services and didn't have to worry about our van during the stay. All in all a very good experience and warmly recommend!!!

Lovely room and excellent hosts”
We received the best customer service here. Filippo was very helpful. He not only helped us with our luggage, but also helped us make reservation for dinner. The breakfast was also good, there were warm crossiant, yoghurt, hot drinks, toast with spread and various biscuits. The room was also well furnished with good heating.

JUST what you need”
We needed room, located near to Termini Station where the train took us from airport stopped and train took us to the next city would departed. And Pietro's place is reachable within 15 minutes walk (even when you walked with giant suitcases). And we just found out on our last day, that when we walked straight to the left of the BnB, we would encountered lots of nice cafes with convenience alfresco. Pietro was very helpful. He would help you fix itinerary to get around Rome and make the most of your day. He makes good coffees too. Room was big, and quiet clean. Bathroom was quite tiny though. But I guess this is very normal in Italy. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very flexible host and very helpful, I like trying out my stay at apartments instead of Hotels. I'm suprised that Filipo and his partner was so gentleman by carrying our luggage all the way up to his property,which my experienced staying in an apartment most of the host will not do that. They explained the procedures clearly and sorted everything systematically. I believe if you have organized your trip properly with then, I'm sure you will have your great stay :)

Location great-not far from the station and although I was a solo traveller, never felt unsafe. Room clean, tidy and modern. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Only downfall was my room was right opposite the train track. Very noisy at times but it didn't stop me from sleeping!

Simple and Adequate”
The host was lovely and very accommodating. He was very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at his place after checkout. The apartment is however on the 3rd level and there’s no lift. The host will help with the bags but we arrived before he came down to greet us. The location is only 15 minutes walk from the station but can be quite quiet and that worried us. We felt anxious walking back at nights. Apart from the location, the place is clean and the service was excellent.
