Villa is in the residential district. Has very clean and stylish rooms. Beautiful garden and view from the house.
A bit far from the centre if you want to walk.

Superb”

Veronica was the sweetest, most gracious host. We were treated to a beautifully chilled rosé on the evening we arrived, a d a lovely breakfast every morning. You need a car to get to this beautiful house, or travel very light. It's an uphill walk from the train station. Air-conditioner was a winner! Spacious room with a balcony, set amongst olive groves. 30 minutes by train to the centre of Florence.
Mosquitoes, so take repellent. 😉

Something different to the standard hotel or B&B in a great location”

A very nice and special place to stay above Prato in an old manor house (including a lot of old furniture, etc.) with a perfect view over the city. Very friendly hosts. Varied breakfast. Secure carpark. Even a restaurant is included in the same building with a moderate price and traditional Tuscan dishes. Something different to the standard hotel or B&B, if you like contact and exchange with the hosts and other guests (e.g. one big breakfast table).
