Honestly, I'm expecting something less since the price is cheap. But I'm wrong. The place is perfectly fit for a solo traveller / couple. Located above a convenience store, you can get your midnight snacks or drinks downstairs. Just as a reminder, it's a hostel. So don't expect it to be like a 5 star hotel. Shared bathroom but its clean, basic facilities like wifi, heater, iron are available. Just remember it use a wooden floor, so when people walking from their room to the toilet, you can hear it clearly. Location wise, waterfront is just across the street. There's a lot of local eateries and attraction within walking distance. Really recommended. Do walk in if you can't call the place. =D

Awesome hotel”
We loved our stay at Loft Waterfront ! The receptionist was friendly, the room small but confortable, the bathrooms great. The hostel has plenty of small details which make our stay different ! And the location is perfect. After 2 years of traveling, we think it's one of the best hostel of Asia !!

strategic location”
overall i rate this loft 9/10 because the location are strategic and easy access to handicraft shop(the shop just downstairs from the loft) and located just opposite the waterfront.just need some repair on their wooden floor and it would be nice if there is a washing machine to make it easy for the customers to wash their laundry.personally i would recommend this place to whom that looking for a budget stay in kuching.maybe in future will repeat to stay here soon, worth every penny😍

Great bang for your buck. Small, but great air conditioning. Rooms are very clean, but be aware that there is a shared bathroom. Bring shower sandals. The staff was very kind, and extremely welcoming.

This budget hotel is located in front of Kuching Waterfront. We stayed 1 night only at 2 bunk bedroom. Shared bathroom. Old room but clean and acceptable. No staff available to attend my stay. Ok la.

Great location at a cheap price”
1) Wifi is fast 2) Location is great, facing waterfront and short walk to Plaza Merdeka 3) Room is basic with shared bathroom (good enough for such value) 4) Reception is helpful, helped me with Grab booking 5) Room 1 is facing the street so may not be ideal for light-sleeper, but fine with me 6) Not suitable for elderly with knee problems, as need to climb up the staircase 7) Security: A key for downstair gate and another for room, could improve on this.

Right in front of the waterfront with a walking distance to any side of the town. Awesome place for any solo traveler, comfortable room, cold aircond, all basic amenities with shared bathrooms. I arrived late as I took late evening's flight but the owner took the initiative to let me know about the keys etc as the counter/staff aint available 24h which I understand and appreciate for the effort.

Great budget hostel at Kuching Waterfront”
Small, very basic rooms, sufficient for the very low room rate. Location is unbeatable, right at Kuching Waterfront. Reception staff is nice and helpful.

Nice location, just a stone throw away from waterfront. Nice food and places to chill out at night. The room is pretty basic, but a bit old, probably needs some repair works on the roof.

strategic location near the waterfront. the place is nice and all, just that it will be noisy at night from the buskers down the street. Had a little problem during checking-in. The staff was not always there n did not respond to phone call. But for the price of RM27/ night, it was good overall.

It's not a special one but absolutely enough for few days. And the location is directly at the wanterfront, that's perfect. More cleanliness at the bathrooms would be great and also the thrash-bins in front of the doors.

Pros Near to waterfront Clean toilets Cons Small room Noisy wooden flooring... Anyone walks past your room will make loud cracking noises. Near to main Street, need to sleep with ear plugs on sat, sun.

Good Location, But not recommended for Light Sleepers”
Very near to the waterfront, and all the action for tourist. But the tradeoff is noisy at day and night. I hardly catch any sleep due to the poor soundproof wall. Aircon is Good. But the Toilet need some fixing.
