these rooms are located on long beach, phi phi don. they are perfect if you are looking for a romantic hotel in paradise. the main town of phi phi can be noisy and busy, which is fantastic for a night out or a good meal or a bit of shopping. if you want to go home to somewhere a bit quieter, then long beach is where you want to be. it takes about 10-15 minutes on a long boat between long beach and phi phi town, which is not long at all when the views are so stunning. it costs about baht which is and the long boats run all through the night. the hotel itself is stunning. the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and so private. the balcony is screened to the one side so that your neighbours cannot see you, leaving you in total seclusion. we opted for one of the higher rooms in order to have a bit more peace and quiet and although the walk up the hill is strenuous, this isn't a problem if you are fit. there is mention in other reviews about building works, which are still taking places. the builders seemed to work sociable hours and we were not disturbed by them at all. although you should note that we did choose a room higher up the hill in order to be further away from the works and i am a heavy sleeper! the beach is here is incredible, the fish that can be seen in the reef are breathtaking. you can hire a snorkel from the hotel for a day very cheaply. the hotel has a bar and restaurant which are pretty standard, the food is average and an average price. you can get a mix of thai or western food. one thing that should be noted is that there is no atm on long beach! you will need to make sure you have money for a long boat so that you can use the atm in phi phi town.

I had read some negative reviews about the hotel before I booked, but even though I decided to try. My plan was to stay at Long beach and Paradise resort had what I needed. The hotel is located in Long beach, very close to the pier - by Taxi boat it's very easy access. You can also walk, it's not that far (I read something about 45min, but it's less) Staff was nice - different than the bad reviews I have seen about service. The restaurant is closed for dinner in low season - which is not a problem for me, as there are other options at the same beach (great ones), and you can always go to the main beach where you'll find several options. But it serves some sandwiches for lunch - which is quite convenient if you plan to spend your day on the white sands in front of the hotel.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon on Phi Phi. The location is fab, at the end of long beach but so perfect for us! Nice walk to the main part but not too long (we’re happy with the exercise). After reading reviews on breakfast I was a little worried but breakfast was lovely!! I got really sick during our stay, a cake down with a bad case of food poisoning from a place along long beach and the hotel staff arranged for a taxi long boat for me and the hospital to pick me up from the pier. Two staff members even took me and my husband to the hospital after ringing ahead and stayed with us! It wasn’t until I was told I was being kept in that they left. They really went above and beyond for us and made us feel less worried about it all. Hotel is quiet, not much going on at night but the hotel next door had entertainment and a restaurant which suites us well as it kept the hotel quiet. The steps really are not that bad AT ALL! I had the best time at this resort! We booked this the night before because the place we were staying at was awful and I am so glad we did because it was heaven! We took a long tail boat from Tonsai Pier to Long Beach and it is right there when you get off. The staff were so friendly and happy, a really great family team running the resort and would help you with anything- they upgraded our bungalow when the shower didn't work as well as it should, which really touched me. An amazing location, right on the (private) beach, complete tranquility and a few restaurants/cafes from other resorts you can choose from. Blue sky have there own beach bar selling light bites and fresh smoothies. The rooms are lovely, clean, spacious, bright and comfortable and many cute cats running about catching frogs! :) It is such a great place I feel reluctant sharing this review as I want it to be my little secret! We booked an extra night, which was no hassle at all and just thorougly enjoyed ourselves, I didn't want to leave! P.s Best breakfast that comes with room I've ever had! gorgeous pancakes!

There are a few beaches on Phi Phi Don, and they are hardly connected at all. To get to Long Beach, one must take a long boat there from the main pier area. But once here, nearly all of the hotels have restaurants and/or bars right on the beach, including Phi Phi Long Beach Resort. That's all we needed for our stay: food, drink, beach, and a room. The rooms were nice, clean, and surprisingly spacious. The staff were helpful. They helped us book a boat to Phi Phi Leh for a fair price. The WiFi got a bit iffy at times, but who cares when you have the beach? Would definitely stay here again!

I believe we were in the fortune position of booking our accommodation way in advance whilst it was still Asia PP, now it's known as The Beach Phi Phi & it's prices have shot up! The location is incredible & cannot fail to impress. To ensure value for money in the future (with the prices they are charging now) I would expect a good deal of upgrading to take place. We had a wonderful stay here & feel happy that we did have value for money.
