They cleaned the pool in the day we arrived, and in the next day it was clean and good... The room was comfortable... The place was very center so we could go to many places without so many problems!!! We had a problem just in the last day when we asked in the day before about the breakfast (usual is 6:00am) they said will be ok and we arrived before 6:00 and they could serve just at 6:30 and just one kind of breakfast... So they could say the real thing like it’ll be available when we have all the items, eggs arrived after 6:00 when 6:00 already needed to start to serve...

Need Repairs ”
Pros: 1. Location wise 2. Affordable 3. Friendly and helpful staff 4. Clean Cons: 1. The toilet bowl needs repair(wont flush). We told the staff but they didnt take an action 2. The room key switch that controls light and AC (electricity to the room) need repairs too. We had to try several times to make it work. Staying there in that condition doesn't make it pleasant at all. 3. Shower holder needs replacement. It wasn't pleasant to take a shower there as the shower arm kept falling. 4. Bathroom door is rottening. Needs to replace. 5. The swimming pool light is floating in the pool instead of being attached to the sides.

I just didn't like the smell in the hallway from the second floor. (can't stand it!) Our first room was way too far from the picture that was advertised in Agoda. So we requested from the other floor and we got transferred right away. Our room was okay (just what we've paid for- so don't expect!) but we liked the breakfast so much especially the bacon! <3 Stayed for 3 days!

Would not recommend this hotel to my enemies”
The outstanding factor about my stay (which I curtailed 4 days early) was the friendliness and hopefulness of the staff. That aside I could find nothing good about a very tired and run down hotel. My suite had a wardrobe door hanging off, the fridge was filthy, the towels threadbare and the WiFi was intermittent at best. The A/C was ineffective and so noisy I couldn't sleep with it on. The swimming pool was dirty as was the surrounding area and there were no loungers, chairs or cushions to allow a few hours relaxation. Many areas smelt of paint and overall the decoration was in need of updating. The breakfast was poor. My fried egg was swimming in enough oil to run my car engine. The surrounding area although close to the big shopping malls, made me feel uncomfortable especially with the number of SWAT trucks patrolling and armed guards at the fast food outlets. I am surprised that the hotel has any staff because all do an outstanding job in adverse conditions.

Sad old hotel. Needs to be rennovated. So few guests? Wonder why? Need more up-to-date photos. Not posed shots hiding all the flaws. Staffers were all hard working and sweet! They are caught in the deceptions of the owners. Sad, a tragedy for the employees.

The facilities needs renovation and the staff needs training. the coffee is pitiful. We even need to walk to nearby jollibee to get our coffee fix since you can barely call a "coffee" the coffee they served.

Staff switch room on me , assigned to room with hole in key plug in, which is ghetto , why hotel don’t bother fixing, And I noticed and suspected my Credit Card had been compromised, got message from my bank some1 trying gain access online accounts. Mango Park Hotel has a good location in central Cebu City, close to the business area. The staff is very friendly and professional. Service and security is very good. One of the things I really liked was the hotel`s tipping policy. You are actualy adviced not to tip any of the staff but instead leave your tip in a tip box at the front desk. Thus you are not expected to give a tip everytime you ask a service, like having a can of hot water delivered to your room (which was by the way always done promptly and with a smile). Wish more hotels would adapt this policy. This hotel has a very good value for money. Nice room rates makes this hotel one of the most affordable in Cebu City. Free breakfast is included. The hotel has a nice top terrace with a swimming pool and nice view overlooking Cebu City. All in all this is a cheap but good hotel in central Cebu City that I would recommend anyone who is planning a stay here. However, this is not the Hilton, so if you are on a honeymoon, I would recommend that you dig a little deeper in your pocket. Some of the rooms definitely need renovation. In my stay here with my family, we occupied two different rooms. One of the rooms had a rather good standard with bright colours and a nice view, while the other room was dark, gloomy and worn and with a solid concrete wall facing the window, thus blocking any view and adding to the dark and creepy feeling of the room. So don't expect the rooms to be all that cosy and romantic. However, they were actualy busy renovating some of the rooms as we were there, so I guess this is something that is being improved. One more thing that would make an improvement to this hotel is if they had a better variety of food at breakfast. I was staying there with my filipino family and they were more than happy to be served rice with fish and bacon at breakfast, but as a european, I want my bread, butter, jam, cheese, fried eggs and milk for breakfast. Wish they would blend in some european style, I like.

I found the location to be the most important reason to check in to this Hotel in the first place. I had some business to attend to at the Bureau of Immigrations, this is what brought me to Cebu in the first place. Once in Cebu you will be pleasantly surprised at this modern city just bristling with activity. The rooftop view of the city is spectacular, with a good view of the harbor, and splendid backdrop of the rising mountains which surround it. I really was prepared for a "no frills" type room. Business was the order of this trip and only needed a place to sleep. I have to say that I was so impressed that I plan to return to Mango Park with my wife and take in some of the wonderful sites to be had here. Cebu City is really worth going to, there are some exciting places to visit!

the hotel is 25 minutes away from the mactan international airport, about 10 kilometers. it is located at gen. maxilom avenue in cebu city, near ayala mall, sm cebu, port of cebu and other tourist destination in cebu. they offer cheaper room rates but the service was superb, the room that we stayed in was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast at ser jos restaurant was good, they offer wide array of filipino favorites, such as dangit, dried pusit, tocino, fried rice etc. they also serve pasta, chicken and tuna sandwich, pancakes, pizza bread, congee, cereals, muffin and walnut bread. and the employees are very accommodative and friendly.
