A perfect nest to relax and unwind”
As a returning guest, I could have not chosen better. The hotel is an oasis of calm, perfect to unwind and enjoy some winter sun away from the bustle of Luxor town. Not all is perfect (e.g. the swimming pool should be heated) but all is forgotten as the staff is able to infuse a sense of hospitality, and attention to details unique to Egypt and this Hotel. Notably, Mervat goes the extra mile to ensure daily that each guest is comfortable in the most discrete and professional way, whilst her lifeguard colleagues ensure the pools are kept in pristine condition and keep guest entertained. Also I must praise to the team of gardeners who work tirelessly to manicure the lush green spaces, home to so much flora and fauna. I will certainly return again at the first opportunity in the knowledge that with a bit of investment from Mercure this place can only go from strength to strength.

Best Hotel Stay in Egypt”
The hotel staff were very helpful. First time getting a personalised welcomong note from the Manager. They have a lot of tour group booking but things were in control. The hotel is by the Nile and you get to see beautiful sunset. We came back to the room and caught the housekeeping making towel swans for us. Feels like we're on honeymoon again. Hotel is also safe and it is easy to get taxi from the hotel. Thank you GM, Mr. Hassan Fahmy and his team for making our stay in Luxor a pleasant one.

Relaxing place, but hard to get around”
The location of this hotel would not be problematic except that the food offered in the evenings was not great and we couldn't easily go to another restaurant because everything was just far enough away as to be inconvenient (if you speak Arabic and don't have to struggle 10 minutes negotiating a taxi ride every time you need to go somewhere, then your experience of getting back to the hotel will be infinitely better). I wouldn't stay there again unless 1/ they start to offer really good local cuisine at dinner time or 2/ Uber starts working in the Luxor area, so that it's possible to get reasonable transportation rates to get back to the hotel after an evening out without the hassle.

Excellent”
Very nice hotel but the location is too far from everything. I was so happy to change to a hotel the next night walking distance to everything even though it wasn’t as nice. The food was not as good as a four star hotel that I stayed at in Luxor

Nice Relaxing Hotel”
Great garden, nice swimming pool and right on The Nile. A bit far outside of Luxor, but that makes it nice and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately complimentary water, tea and coffer was not refilled daily.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Pleasant staff and lovely grounds. Location is a bit further out of town than expected but taxis are not expensive. Good breakfast buffets and ore than comfortable rooms.

Lovely hotel with wonderful attentive staff.”
Nowhere near the location shown on Agoda map, which threw our plans out a little, but was manageable to get around by taxi or a walk, every other site does have the correct location of the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious and lovely touches like swan towels from housekeeping out a smile on our face at the end of long days sightseeing. Breakfast and Buffet Dinners were wonderful in the restaurant.

CLean and tidy”
Overall we had a good stay but be warned there is NO wifi in the rooms only in the lobby so if you require internet or phone service you'll need to get a sim card before arriving . The staff were friendly and quite helpful it is a little bit out from any kind of shops but it's quite managable with available taxi services. Overall good value for money

As a chain hotel, we accepted the service level and what we have got from the hotel such as food, room space, cleanliness. Since the hotel is quite big but less staff, some service is limited but it is acceptable

Nice garden, place bit out of town ”
I stayed here only one night, the room was very nice and clean. Pool was unfortunately not heated so I couldn't use it. Staff was helpful and breakfast buffet also delicious.

Non-professional staff”
Hotel pin address wrong on the map that led us to go wrong way to the hotel, the staff was not enthusiastic, did not help, we had to call 5 times to borrow the menu to call up the room. The hotel address is far away from the center, instructed on the wrong map again, because previously this hotel was named Sofitel, when we told the taxi they did not even know this hotel, and follow the directions map of the guests. The taxi took us to the wrong street. Never come back to this hotel

Good sides - Clean - Staff are polite - Allow early check in - Food from room service is good Bad sides - Breakfast has very few choices and quality is not good; not refilling the food so there is almost nothing to eat if you arrive restaurant at 10:30 or so - Staff speak poor english thus communication is a problem - No WIFI in the room; available in the lobby but speed is very low - More than 70% of the time no one in the reception or room service is picking up calls

Séjour très agréable ”
J’ai passer environs 6 jours dans cet hôtel, le personnel toujours présent, compétant et de surcroît tres sympathique est un véritable plus. Les installations comme la piscine et l’acces au jardin sont plaisant, l’acces a internet ce fait uniquement au niveau de l’acceuil: pourvu de fauteuil confortable. La propreté de l’hôtel est impeccable. Un bémol cependant sur le restaurant proposé; ou le matin le petit déjeuné peut être amélioré. Quand au repas du soir (en supplément) ou malgré un service professionnel, les plats proposés en buffet ainsi que les desserts sont très en deçà de la qualité du reste de l’établissement. Des petits prix étant disponible lors de mon séjour (15€/n) le rapport qualité/prix est excellent au vu des attentes occidentales. Je conseil pour tout type de clientèle.

メルキュールの予約からホテルマップを見ると全く間違ってるホテルマップを表示。全く反対方向。その為到着に苦労し、その事を指摘しても謝ろうともせず、逆ギレする始末。wifiも部屋では繋がらない。これがメルキュールかと思うと残念。メルキュールを名乗る資格無し。最悪のサービス。
