Best B&B in Kenting”

There is nothing but good things to say about the Miami Hostel, its more a B&B, the location right across from Nanwan and staff that is fantastic. I left my Mac charger at home, not having a Mac store near by, they called all their friends to get me a charger so I could do some work. The facility is not fancy, but extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again next time in Kenting and would recommend to anyone visiting Kenting if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay with great staff and great views.

We stayed at 5 different hotels/ hostels/ apartments in taiwan and this has got to be the top 2. The location is right smack in front of the awesome beach and we had the sea view room so we were able to tan on our balcony as well as listen to the waves crash onto the shore. The service is immaculate. One of the bald front desk staff spoke perfect english and he helped me carry my 20kg luggage up and down the 3rd floor when we arrived and was leaving. He also came out all the way to the bus stop to make sure we took the right bus back to kaohsiung when we left. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in taiwan. the only problem is that I wish I had more! The room itself was spotless and the open concept of the bathtub and toilet was really unique. it is also situated right in front of the bus stops so getting around is a breeze. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the kenting night market/ bars so its peaceful but just 5 mins away by bus so it is convenient. I would return to this hostel again if I ever revisit Kenting.

Fantastic hostel with a generous host”

The host Ah Ting was very hospitable from the start. Gave us good introduction with regards to the hostel amenities. Also introduced activities that we could do in Kenting and recommended places to us to go and what to do at these places. He also helped us to enjoy these activities at discounted rates and we very grateful. Host is a friendly man and hostel is also ran by his girlfriend and family, making the stay a warm and personable one. He brought us around on the second day of our trip in Kenting and we very glad that he knew locations that weren't thronged with tourists but we could still enjoy the same scenery as the others do. Breakfast at the hostel was awesome as well. Looks simple but always very delicious. Will definitely come back again if we have the chance again. Don't think twice to stay with Ah Ting!

Owners went the extra mile to provide us with detailed information on the various attractions in Kenting. Our room rate didn't include breakfast but was grateful for the complimentary breakfast given out of their goodwill before we checked out.
