Find hotels near Nemi in Nemi, Italy

We were 3 people: my brother and his wife from the USA joined me in Rome where I live and we traveled to Nemi for the Strawberry Festival in early June. We particularly wanted to eat the tiny wild ones from the surrounding woods. Fresh porcinis were also just coming into season. The streets which our rooms faced were lined with food and handcraft stalls. The usual Italian festa musicians, mimes, and performers added to the charming bustle. The restaurant in the hotel had both terraces and large rooms inside. All were busy but the service was the usual Italian: attentive and informative about the foods which were local, fresh and very well prepared and presented. We were all delighted and I am looking forward to returning for a few days later in the summer or fall. I will definitely return to this hotel based on the rooms and the service. Our rooms were large, clean, nicely furnished and my brother and wife actually had a complete suite not just a double room. Beds were very comfortable and there were couches and separate tables for having a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. All the staff were terrific.
