It’s a long way from bars, restaurants and places of interest but staff are happy to call a taxi. The taxis in Ubon are good, and don’t mind using the meter. There is a pub downstairs which employs a surprisingly high number of female staff. It is really a convention centre so really geared up for Thais, although the usual fried breakfast is available.

Absolutely the worst stay ever. Room appeared to have been painted by kids, no hot water regardless of time of day only barely warm. One wall light hotwired without a switch to turn off (used a towel to loosen bulb so could go to sleep). Electrical outlets faulty and plugs would fall out of the recepticals, and outlet next to bed had no power. Toilet paper with less than half a roll.not replaces and no extra in the room. Menu items in the restaurant not available. Wine and mixed drinks on the cocktail /drinks menu not available unless you purchase the whole bottle. Party on second floor could be heard in out 7th floor room.

They have a nice pool but the cleaning personal forgot to close the door so it stood wide open a hole day. I am just happy that nothing got stolen.

the staff are friendly and try to help but on my visit we had no hot water to the baths for three days they finally moved to a lower level as that level had it own heater in the bath rooms. The rooms that we moved to was well below the junior suit that I had booked. I do know that all places have there problems but for the staff to in denial for two days is not acceptable. the hotel was almost empty for most of the time of our stay on one morning at breakfast we were the only ones there

The hotel was adequate, but barely. Our rooms included connected suites next to the pool, which was great. However, one of the sink faucets was broken and little gnat looking bugs flew around the sink area. It was gross. The hotel was run down and not kept up well. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special.

Failed to pick us up from the airport even though I requested van a month early. Bed felt like the springs were coming through. Toilet seat was falling apart. Found roaches in bathroom twice. Loud music late into the evening preventing sleep. Air conditioning took hours to cool room down.

My Review Title - Sir”
This place has the bones of a good hotel but it is let down by little things. Clunky light control panel, burnt and dirty carpets, terrible water pressure for the shower . . . The noise from the bar was a pain as was parking on the weekend. Breakfast was interesting. They tried Thai and Western and missed both. But it is what it is. Good value, comfortable and handy to everything. Why risk some of the other hotels in Ubon Ratchathani?

Great choice to stay here. A hotel driver waited for me at the aitport. Room service was always provided 24 hours. My room is very large with many fine pillows and pretty big TV. Breakfast was great, Thai and European styles. I will give 4 stars if the hotel provided a laundry bag, sandal, tea and coffee, and hair dryer. I went to bed late then music at the pool party (5th floor) did not disturb me. So not good for people who love to stay in a quiet place.

Very nice hotel, also architectally. Big rooms, nice swimmingpool. Breakfastbuffet was plentyful and excellent also when the hotel was not fully booked. The transfer from airport to hotel however did not work. Even though announced there was nobody there. Transfer from hotel to airport no problem however. All in all very good.

My Best Stay in Ubon”
I had a wonderful over-night stay. Arrived from Bangkok and greeted by the hotel representative to pick me up from the airport. An eight-minute walk from the hotel took me to a Tesco. The following day, I checked out in time for my bus trip to Pakse, Laos. The hotel offered me a free transfer to the bus station. I was so grateful for that.

First the + The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was big and clean Now the - First we booked the room with twin beds,on arrival we were told that the type of room we booked did not have twin beds. As the hotel had 3 months to tell us and didn't was very disappointing. Next the A/C only managed to lower the room temperature by about 3C despite being on continually for 7 days. Next the room had 3 x double L sockets, pair in the bathroom and two pairs in the bedroom. The pair in the bathroom did not work and I had to go and buy a razor and shaving cream.One of the pair in the bedroom had the TV plugged in and the second socket was so loose it produced blue flashes when the kettle was plugged in. The second pair didn't work at all and was so loose nothing would stay in anyway. Finally as a smoker I accept no smoking in the room,dinning room and reception but the hotel has also made the open air pool area no smoking as well. This is taking no smoking too far and for me cost the hotel money as I never bought food or drink by the pool. Finally would I stay there again and would I recommend to friends NO primary because of the electrical and A/C problems
