Convenient, comfortable”
We had stayed here before when we were visiting Udon Ratchathani. The other location we liked but was not centrally located was the Pentahug. Our evening entertainment is bowling and as part of the Nevada complex, they have very good bowling lanes. It is also very close to the Sunee Plaza which has a variety of shops and restaurants. They have a unique elevator system. One walks up to the 2nd floor to catch the elevator to the other 5 floors. The hotel is a little worn but still comfortable. When we were there, the wireless was 'down'. Nt sure how long but if you wanted to get access, you had to go to the lobby and MAYBE you would get access. They call their breakfast, AMERICAN style, but it really is not. Since I am an American, a breakfast is 2 eggs any style, toast, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausage links, juice, & coffee or tea.

old and tired looking but still very comfortable”
we decided to come back to ubon from khong chiam before going on to surin. we decided on the nevada hotel because of its proximity to bowling and a small mall. we were on the 7th floor (top floor) and the room seemed to have been recently renovated. the only issue came that many of the electrical outlets did not work, which was just a small nuisance. the lift was from the 2nd floor up so bags had to be carried to/from the lobby to the 2nd floor. the free breakfast was nothing to write home about, cold eggs and other thai dishes. the only warm stuff was a soup, and of course hot water for coffee and/or tea. all in all, the hotel rated very acceptable.

we go by bhuddis trip about 4 persons. hotel is very easy to find in big city like ubon. hotel room is ok but somtime air condition got noise anyway it's not a big deal. if you got something to do business or travel in group this hotel is good and fully sure that is right choice to stay here.

Good hotel. Basic and simple but pleasant.”
We go to Ubon about once every 4 to 6 weeks and always stay at the Nevada. There is no problem with English. The restaurant (with Karaoke) is a pleasant evening and good food at a reasonable price (there is a nightclub within 50 metres for those who want to stay up a little longer. It is very comfortable for us.

Spacious, but starting to get outdated”
We were a bit disappointed, because we had mixed up Nevada Inn with Nevada Convention hotel (our mistake, we hadn't realized that there were two with the same, not very common name) and had expected something better. Nevada Inn was OK though, and good value for money. It has a somewhat decadent flair to it and in my opinion will need some major refurbishing soon. Another downside was that in one shift neither of the two girls at reception spoke English and it took them ages to pinpoint the location of their hotel on their map, so not very helpful.

Good hotel, bad location”
Nevada looked mostly abandoned during my 2 night stay. It was very quiet, except for the pool next door. On Sunday there were about 50 screaming and shouting kids. Not exactly a place to chill with an ice cold Singha after a busy day in the Thai heat. On Monday there were only a couple of kids and it was quiet. Check-in and out were efficient, staff is very friendly and helpful. I really liked the included breakfast and the Internet worked OK (however on day 2 it was very slow for about 2 hours). The room was comfy but a bit old fashioned, with the exception of the bathroom that was up to date. The location is not great, except for a huge supermarket, there is not much going on in the area...

Good place to visit Ubonratchathani city”
Customer service take care of me and help me a lot in travel information around the city. Nevada inn is near the Nevada complex in 1-2 minute walk, so you can buy the stuff and food, and also watch the movie in this place. This is a good place to start to visit this cultural city and you can also rent the bicycle from the hotel to visit this city.

I read many reviews before choosing this hotel and it did not disappoint. I have traveled around Asia the past 6 months and currently live in Laos, so keep that perspective in mind. I saw reviews that said the furniture was outdated. Ok, I see that. Some of the wood items didn't have the best finish on it anymore. But that was it in the "negatives" column for me. The bed was very comfortable which was a huge plus and the wood flooring was beautiful. There was a fridge in my room and a nice large flat screen television. The bathroom was also very nice as it had an actually shower "stall" with a shower curtain. I am used to just showering off on the open floor. There was free wifi which worked well. The hotel staff were also very willing to help and the check in through my Agoda reservation was seamless. (I did have the confirmations they sent me printed which helped).

Nice Accomodation in a Good Location very clean”
The room/bath room were laudably clean, w/free Wi-Fi working & maintained in a good condition. The location proved to be very good, too, conveniently located in the center of Udol/along its main road, w/Lotus, Big C and other shopping centers scattered around the hotel. Besides, very near to the airport, taking only 5-7 min. drive. The staff members were also very friendly and willing to be of help. Overall, a very nice accommodation.

A Not So Amazing One Night Stay”
i stayed at the nevada inn for just one evening in february 2013. when i checked in, i was informed that the elevator was out of service that i would have to take the stairs to my room on the seventh floor (the hotel didn't seem very busy so i don't know why i was put in a room on the seventh floor). i arrived in the evening, so it was difficult to find authentic thai food nearby for dinner. i ate at the mall which is attached to the hotel. when i tried to check e-mail, i was told that the internet was down for the moment, and it would be up eventually; they did not know when however. i was pointed toward the local internet cafe which i found didn't have a way to print items which was what i needed to do in addition to checking my e-mail. the internet eventually worked for a while. the elevator was fixed the next day as i was checking out. it is probably a fine place to stay; the room are clean; the decor is simple but pleasant; however, the one evening that i stayed there was stressful and not so fun. oh, but the matress was extremely comfortable!! that part was amazing!

They had a discount offer when reserving. The furniture may be old as the other comments. But the room was spacious and clean. It sufficed since I was basically only there to sleep in the night. One problem was the shower water spilled out through the tunnel of the barrier between the shower and the toilet area. This flood half of the bathroom. It must be an engineering design flaw where the floor is lower around the toilet than the shower drain. I temporarily fixed this problem by stucking a plastic bag full of toilet paper into the tunnel in the small "wall (10 cm high)" that separeted the toilet area and the shower area. This minimized the leak and virtually solved the problem. I don't know if this is unique to my room. The front desk staff did not speak English. This hotel was behind the movie theater. There is a larger hotel on the same property and all my friends thought that I was staying at the larger hotel. May cause possible confusion in case of meeting up.

This is a nice basic hotel with no frills but great staff that are don't speak too much english but are very friendly and I don't seem to have too much trouble communicating. We have stayed here a few times now and I can't think of a reason why I would want to change to another hotel.

not what I expected”
I viewed the agoda website under "Nevada Hotel" and clearly the voucher for Hotel said Nevada hotel but upon check in, the front desk @ Nevada Hotel said my reservation was for Nevada INN and not Nevada Hotel. Very disappointing and misleading. Never again.

Great room, but farther from city centre”
It's not within city centre, need to take a bus to get into the city though quite easy to get one. However, the hotel is quite clean and nice, with good breakfast and a night bar with live performance. The service is also very good.

Convenient and comfortable”
Some remodelling has been done in recent years, oarticularly of foyer/reception areas. Still quirky and with lots of empty space and 'make do' repairs typical of most SE Asian hotels. Comfortable bed (not a given in this part of the world) and adequate in-room mini-fridge. Four English language channels for news and features, with good reception.
