Lost our Sweater”
The hotel is good location and value of money. Clean rooms. Now about staff: At the check out we forgot in our waredrope a Lacoste sweaters. After 2 hours we realised it and i call the hotel reception. The receptionist (woman) she told me they will check and call me back. No one call. So i call again they told me they will check tomorrow morning because the cleaning ladies finish the shift. Next morning no one call so i call again at the afternoon and they told me that they dont find nothing!!!!!! How that is possible??? We call 2 hours after we left the room and Siena......

Water pressure abysmal”
The Hotel interior itself was satisfactory. No real cleanliness complaints. The water pressure from the shower head was abysmal making showering close to impossible. the shower stall itself was also too small for how big the bathroom itself was.

Challenges with guest service”
The hotel is in a good location, walking distance from points of interest and restaurants. However the service leaves a lot to be desired.... The reception service was very poor at night. Not possible to reach the reception via phone, not even from an outside line. Also the service at breakfast was non-existing, the buffet messy and tabled not cleared from 1st seating at breakfast when we arrived at 0900.... Will not return...

Good location, just opposite bus station”
We took bus from Florence to Siena with heavy luggage. We were overjoyed that NH was just opposite to bus station, especially it's cold and raining. Hotel offered us early check in around 10:30 w/o extra charge, it's appreciated. NH provides various choice in breakfast buffet. C/P is very worth staying in NH in Siena,

Comfortable and close to the center”
The hotel is not at walk distance from the train station (but almost no hotel in Siena is) but close to the center, few steps from the old town and walking by a shopping street you can reach Piazza Del Campo. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast has good choice. Recommended!

Nice location and staff”
It was a pleasant experience to stay at this hotel...close to the bus terminal where you can literally go to any toscany small town, and a nice area to visit many mionuments..Staff was helpful, with many enthusiasm. Although it might be a little bit difficult to get to Siena by train to reach this hotel. It was perfect if you arrived on bus.

Good location, helpful staff”
Our train was delayed and arrived at siena after midnight, we actually walked all the way from the train station as we couldnt get a taxi since we dont speak italian. Luckily the hotel is at a convenient location and easily accesible so it only took us around 15 minutes of walking to get there! A great plus especially when you out on the street with luggages after midnight! The staff were helpful too！

Hip and stylish room & close to parking”
Parking in Sienna can be a challenge. It's more a walking city. NH is close to public parking facilities and yet 10 minute walking distance to the main square (Piazza deal Campo) so the location is great. Much easier to haul your luggage to the hotel if you're driving in Tuscany rather dragging it through the cobbled streets of Sienna. Great value for a stylish & fashionable room.

Good location, nice room”
I find the hotel in a good location, easy walk to Siena other attractions and directly opposite the bus station (if you use buses). However, Siena train station is not within walking distance and you will need to catch a cab. I have taken 4 cab rides to/fro the train stations from this hotel and everytime I was charged differently, though still reasonable in my opinion. All attractions in Seina is within walking distance from this hotel, as well as restaurants. Staffs in the hotel are friendly and English speaking, although one of them told me that I could walk to the train station, which I think is wrong advice given that a cab ride costs less than 10 Euro, but the walk would have taken you 20-30 minutes. Breakfast provided was pretty standard stuff.

We just stayed in Siena for a night so location is the most important criteria. NH hotel is very good in terms of room quality. Also, staff is helpful. There is s free parking area close to the football court with 10 mins walking distance that us acceptable!

Great location”
the nh excelsior was in a great location, with the bus terminus right in front and the ticketing counters in the basement down a flight of steps right outside the hotel. the superior room we stayed in was large and had all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay. the buffet breakfast was of good quality with a good selection. frontline staff were generally helpful and efficient. free wifi in half hour bundles was provided in the lobby. if you run out of time, you'll need to get another password from the reception. the hotel would have scored full points from me if free wifi were extended to the rooms.

Good location, free parking in the vicinity”
We stayed here just for one night, however were very pleased by the location of the Hotel and the free parking at a nearby site. I guess this parking is for the soccer stadium of AC Sienna which is next to the hotel, but if no game, parking is for free. This comes in very handy if you travel by car. The Room was very spacious which was good since we came with 3 suitcases, so needed some floor space to open them all up. The hotel provides a wide range of amanities in the bathroom, so you can fill up your supplies there. The breakfast was maximum average. I would say in line with the price category of this hotel, but certainly not what makes you come back to this hotel. Surprisingly, the only downside was the staff here. I found that the staff at the reception was very grumpy and did not really pay lots of attention to a good customer experience or service. However, you just have to deal with this for 5mins during check in and check out. Location of the hotel is great, within 10mins you reach the center of the old town of Sienna. However, in all transparency, i guess thats true for most hotels in Sienna as the city is really small. As long as you stay within the old city wall, everything can be reached by foot. We did not try any of the public transportation.
