This will definitely be my favorite Apartment to stay whenever we plan to go back to Florence again! Starting with the friendly and courteous staff, who were very helpful in all our inquiries, the Apartment is really spacious and clean with 2 big rooms, a kitchen and thank God, 2 bathrooms! The apartment is in old style but we love everything about it plus it's really very close to the Duomo, shops and the street next to it has the best Steak we have ever tasted! We love this apartment and stayed for 3 nights, my children though wanted to stay longer. :)

Stunning location”
I had read that Palazzo Gamba Apartments were "steps from the Duomo," but I couldn't believe how close it actually was until we pulled up. The location simply CANNOT be beat. We arrived late but were able to arrange remote access into the lobby. The next day we were greeted by the very friendly front desk receptionist. Both staff members we encountered were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The apartment was a perfect refuge from the busy Florence streets, with plenty of space over two bedrooms and two bathrooms, well-working A/C, and a small bottle of wine and olive oil to welcome us. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again if I return to Florence.

Great hotel, great location!”
This hotel is right across from where the Duomo is located (from our room we had views of the Baptistery and the Cathedral). Staff was always friendly, and patient with us when we arrived after their desk had closed for the night. There is a separate large bedroom and kitchen/siting/eating room. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal (although I didn't see anything I would consider a grocery store in the area). Didn't need it with all the great restaurants nearby, but the refrigerator was wonderful to keep some cold drinks in.

Best Value Hotel in the World?”
The view from our room was seriously incredible - seriously world class panoramas of the piazza and the Duomo. The room was enormous and had high ceilings and two porches. The only improvement would be better furniture/beds, but honestly this hotel is a freaking steal at their current rate

Loved this hotel, location is perfect. Would stay here again for sure. The only bad points were - no pool or gym (which is the trade off for staying in the middle of everything) - house keeping came twice during siesta, which is a problem when lots of shops are closed and it’s very hot & you really do really want to have a quick sleep! Would stay here again for sure!

Be in the centre of all Florence has to offer”
Palazzo Gamba was central to everything you want to see and do in Florence. It's so close to the Duomo, you can almost reach out your window and touch it - and it's buzzing with activity most of the day so you feel part of the action but from above. Plenty of cafes and restaurants at your door. Plus the Accademia, Uffizi, Piazza Vecchio and leather markets are all within 10 mins walk. The apartment had high ceilings and classic decor with a small kitchen fitted with a small oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The lift made it easy to get luggage and shopping up and down the 5 floors. We'd recommend staying here if you can afford it - it's truely lovely.

Great place”
We had the Michelangelo unit. A corner apartment with windows on two sides and a perfect spot to view the Explosion of the Cart on Easter morning. The only comments (and they are so small that I hesitate to mention them) were the lack of extra pillows and the annoyance of the hangers. They were the type where you have to connect the stem of the hanger to the connection that is on the rail. A bit annoying and surprising that they would worry that someone might steal the hangers. It's a pretty impressive place when those are the only downsides! Highly recommend.

Best location with helpful staff”
Location was perfect just like other reviews, walking distance to shopping street,leather market,train stations. Plenty of cafes,restaurants,gelato around. Apartment was too big and too spacious. Only complaint was the floorboard of the bedrooms was abit thin, and you get the s sinking feel it when u walk on it.

Large, clean, good value for money”
Large 2 bedroom apartment, and 2 bathrooms, ideal for a family of 4 (the Raffaelo). Incredible view of the Duomo. But noisy because of late night tourists and early delicery trucks. If you don't mind the noise, it's ideal.

It was situated just beside the Duomo. You can go anywere by walk. And the staff was very kindly. There was a capsule coffe machine. But it wasn't refilled with new capsule at the next day.
