Offering a furnished courtyard and a fish restaurant, Hotel Rafael is in the main square of Porto Rafael overlooking the Maddalena Archipelago. Buses to Palau stop just 100 metres away. Rooms at Hotel Rafael are decorated with hand-crafted furniture. All air-conditioned, they also feature free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Some have views of the sea and the town, and a balcony. Porto Rafael beach is only a few steps away, while Palau centre is 10 minutes away by car. amazing host, great location, clean, would come over &amp; over again”

the location was amazing! the host SO incredibly kind &amp; helpful! it was very clean &amp; for noise sensitive people, even though the bars &amp; restaurant downstairs are open late, the windows are very noise canceling. although we had the windows open all night &amp; it didn’t bother us. the room was small but absolutely enough for 2 people, enough space for 2 bags &amp; a desk &amp; the balcony was EPIC! great to watch the sunrise.

The location is picturesque and in a quiet location.
A bit of a parking problem. A bit difficult to carry the luggages, but they will be tackling it soon.

Relaxing unique place”

Location perfect for the place - Rafael is very small and unique so there&#39;s not much in the town. Host upgraded us to a balcony room which was gorgeous. Coffee machine and milk foamer in the room which was perfect. Nice decor and a very relaxed feel.
Shampoo could be provided alongside the shower gel, and in our room I think the bathroom needs a bit of a touch up or repaint. The shower especially.

Beautiful location, spoilt by misinformation.”

On the advertisement much is made of the location. It is a beautiful spot, in September it was peaceful and we could relax without too much noise. The balcony overlooked the beach and patio areas, great for just relaxing. Bedroom was fine, comfortable bed. Shower room was fine.
The advertisement for the hotel mentions a buffet breakfast, we were told they didn&#39;t do breakfast. They provided some biscuits. The restaurant was closed and there isn&#39;t another within walking distance, again we were not informed of this before arriving. The bathroom was OK but lacked some toiletries and the soap dish and toothbrush holder were dirty. There were unidentifiable stains on the wall.
