We stayed in executive suite. The suite is very beautiful! We enjoyed our stay in Residenza Castiglioni. It’s our first visit In Florence and were so glad we picked this B&B and stayed in one of their beautiful suite. Perfect location. Walking distance to train station and to everywhere. In the centre of shopping area and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly also. The room was huge and the design is absolutely beautiful. It’s clean and bright. If We will visit Florence again we will stay in the same suite in Residenza Castiglioni!!!

Beautiful hotel in great location”
Wonderful hotel! Host is fantastic, breakfast has everything you could want, and way more than you need. They even serve tea properly in a teapot. Quiet classical music playing in the background sets the scene for lovely rooms with great décor, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms. A very short walk to the train station and close to all the important sights in Florence. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Cozy bed & breakfast in the quiet lane near the busy train station”
The bed & breakfast might not have the flexibility on refund if you have made a reservation on a non-refundable transaction even under this uncertainty covid situation, however if you finally stayed here, their staff are actually quite nice and friendly. Maybe just too strict with their policy. Breakfast is normal but they do make very nice cappuccino. Stayed in the only single room at the other patio. Small but manageable with one cargo and one cabin bag. Bring your own toiletries as they dun seem to refill or replenish enough but towels are changed everyday. Location wise is a stone throw to almost everywhere. Near the train station. Highly recommended.

They are very strict with their changes/refund policy. Please do be careful and read the T&C in Agoda properly as currently they will combine flexible rate with non-refundable rate to offer your search. Stayed in their only single room. Small and functionable. Space enough for one cargo and one cabin bag with still some walking space. Staff are nice and friendly. Breakfast is simple and they made really nice cappuccino. Bring your own toiletries as the shampoo/soap is not replenish and too little. Towels are changed everyday. Location is perfect, stone throw to train station and can walk to alot of main attraction.

A hidden secret in the old part of Florence ”
This is a rather underrated hotel, it is housed in one of these old Italian city buildings with courtyards, heavy metal gates and big wooden doors. The rooms are large, very clean with very comfortable beds and large clean bathroom. All in all, nothing like one of the large corporate hotels, but a rather unique experience right in the old centre of Florence. !

This place really suited all our needs. My husband and I were relegated to the Allora B&B side of the property (this may be because we paid a very low/sale rate), and his parents and brother had much bigger rooms in the Castiglioni side (behind the check-in desk)...although I do think our side may have been quieter. And in order to go get breakfast, we had to go back down to the 1st Floor from the 4th Fl, walk over to the Castiglioni side, go up to the 4th Fl again. There's an elevator if you need it though, and it wasn't that big of a deal for us. Just take note. Breakfast is fantastic (it's Italy, but even so, such good coffee!) and service was great. We needed to catch a train to Rome, and it was super convenient, not to mention the fact that it was close to all the big attractions. Would recommend, and would stay again.

An elegant B and B ”
The Residenza had an air of old world charm with all the modern amenities you would expect. The room was cool and comfortable in the summer heat. A copious continental breakfast was provided in the elegant dining/reception area. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing everything but...”
Pros: the breakfast(handmade cappuccinos, homemade yogurt, amazing selections, fresh homemade bread), location(such a lively area close to shops, restaurants), room was large with good space , a lot of counter tops and storage space, shower pressure was good, nice decor, convenient snacks and wine in room for purchase. Cons: our air conditioning did not work( it was a fan, our room never got hot though)it was really a task getting into the building to even check into our room. We literally had to wait a long while before anyone who had a key went out of large gate or was coming in. Our room was rather complicated to get to. They gave us three metal keys, one for the metal gate, the door to our hallway and a key for our door. Some nights we returned late and the hallway to our room would be super dark. Aside from the few cons, the hotel was really great. Make sure to have your phone flash lights ready after long nights for those pesky dark hallways.
