we were travelling for honeymoon, and all savoy hotel is very good in terms of service and comfort. the issue however is that in Florence savoy hotel is located at the very center of the city where driving is nearly impossible. and you know Italy with its traffic blockage here and there make us very frustrated at first. I know people say take public transport but at time we carried far too many luggages to take public transport. nonetheless this is a very good hotel and will stay there again if I'm travelling to Florence again.

A good hotel”

When we checked-in to the hotel, they said they was a mixed up with the reservation dates. My agoda voucher was the correct date, but their system had some error. When we arrived there are noon, the rooms were not ready for an early check-in. So we left our luggage at the front desk. The good thing about this hotel is the central location. It is right beside Hugo Boss and Miu Miu. La Rinascente is two shops down. The staff there are very helpful. We asked the concierge for recommendations for lunch and dinner. They helped us make dinner reservation. They also provided a map of Florence and drew up the directions to places of interest. The bell boy was very helpful and gave us information about the outlet mall. The breakfast spread is nothing to rave about. The usual Italian breakfast - cereal, cheese, hams, yogurt, bread. There is a hot food option if you pay extra. The rooms are clean and cozy. The bathroom is a little small, the bathroom door hits the toilet bowl when you open it inside. Other than that, it was a great stay at Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy.

Hotel Savoy was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. It's a classy hotel, with impeccable service and amazingly located in the heart of Florence.

Neat hotel, with adequate good amenities except that the breakfast could be better. Due to location, can even hear certain activities going on in the night. room is modern, though rather small.

This is a great 5 star hotel in the center of the city. Location is perfect - literally walking distance to major attractions. Staffs are very nice, professional and give good advices on the restaurants. Room is small but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely come back!

The hotel is wonderful with friendly staff that is helpful. It is a good hotel which is basically the center of the town. it is convenient to get around. Clean nice hotel with lovely large room with balcony. The service is outstanding and be personal and friendly. Management very visible and attentive.

We fond the hotel very central to all the tourist attractions eg Duomo, Uffizi etc. and the hotel faces a square which has excellent cares for people watching or a cup of Italian coffee any time of the day. Hotel was superb, with a great concierge service but we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast spread.
