Unforgettable”
I booked this place because I wanted to be next to the Elephant Nature Park. I was not sure what to expect. They can personally pick you up at the airport. The van is totally first class. When I arrived I was immediately greeted with lemongrass water. The outstanding special service. The rooms are incredible. I had the flowing river and a pool I shared with another room. The Cafe was my favorite place because of the birds and flowing rivers were so soothing. The breakfast was amazing. The dinners the banana fritters. Every space was so perfectly designed. They have two goats and a garden. They have a tree that when the flowers bloom they fall off the tree and you can put one on your head everyday. They ride around in golf carts and you can wave them down for a ride. Also have bicycles. Just amazing. They are slightly off the city so no noises. This is a retreat. Also please do not ride elephants it is cruel. Do your research first.

The lagon-pool is incredable . Elephants in the river, close to the wonderfull coffee shop : a MUST . 2 days in paradise. 1 of the best place around Chiang Mai.

The pool was amazing and their breakfast buffet was so divine! We rode a bike around the vicinity and we can see elephants on the river early in the morning!

Incredible staff and food”
The Sibsan is about an hour away from the city, so it’s great if you are trying to stay away from the hustle and bustle. The resort is beautiful and well set up. It’s a short trip to many elephant sanctuaries. We stayed for three nights and 4 days and ate all our meals there. The food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are perfect, best sleep I’ve had in months! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. We tried the spa and if you can, be sure to try the full body Thai massage!

Exceptional ”
It was a short stay but everything was good. The resort is well established and maintained. You can feel the love everywhere. Staffs are locals and they care deeply to provide their best service. The resort is vast and beautiful, if you love nature, you will enjoy every corner of this place. The only downside for a long stay is perhaps the limited menu. The foods are great, fresh and well prepared but the menu is not extensive. I will definitely return for a longer stay to explore the neighborhood villages and communities, and of course to learn more about Thai elephants.

Price is plus plus. Restaurant service charge is 17% but, it worth. It was really romantic. Thai food is recommended. Staffs are very great service, very impress. Btw, I don’t like air condition in my room. It is old and noisily, really need to be replaced. ps swimming pool is the prop for the restaurant, not recommended to go swim.

Atmosphere are perfect. In the room, I don’t like curtain, it’s too thin, can’t cover sun light when we want to get up late. Breakfast is just OK. All staff are nice though.

I love the hotel. It's not far from CM town about 45 minutes of driving. I lived in superior villa. The room is big bit quite old. The bathroom door is broken. Anyway, overall is ok. I love it.

Sibsan”
Sibsan is set in the rain forest and a superb location. It was the low season. Swimming pool was dirty, staff left drinks and plates around the pool area all day and were not really on top of things, they need a manager who knows what they are doing. Overall a good experience though, we did a days trekking which was not on the normal list which they arranged for us with a member of staff who use to lead treks. This was a highlight and we spend 7 hours trekking and visiting a hill tribe without driving hours to get somewhere.

Washrooms smell like sewage (at least 3 units we were in). Needs general upkeep. Looking worn and dated. Good bones beautiful setting and still lovely design and gardens. Too bad it is starting to get run down. Restaurant was well run and food was pretty good. Coffee was horrible. For the price should have fresh ground coffee machine as other similar places do.
