"Thank you to everyone at the Chateau who made our stay enjoyable, pampered us and for generally making us feel like superstars; the service was seamless and faultless. You'll often come across hotels in Malaysia that say they're five star, and maybe in 1998 they were, so it can be a bit nerve wrecking when rocking up to a new place that you've stumbled upon on Agoda. This resort will not disappoint you - from the relaxed atmosphere, best night's sleep in comfortable rooms, experiencing a blissful spa treatment, dining on a healthy menu, stretching out during the complimentary morning yoga and devouring the endless delicious organic buffet breakfast, that you'll want to try to recreate, photograph and pin! All the reception, service and restaurant staff members are what makes the place so special - nothing is too much trouble, they can read minds and if you're feeling too healthy they make mean cocktails too. Merci! The no U12 rule worked for us and added to the enjoyment. The French restaurant was rather special but I felt it was overpriced on top of everything else so opted to eat in the more relaxed pool restaurant and drank in the bar. We left the resort for a few minutes to visit the 'french themed' sister resort but scurried back to our oasis! We will be back! *Note the Chateau couldn't match Agoda member price so book on here! "one of the newest hotel in bentong pahang. old town white coffee, malay and mamak restaurant nearby. 7 eleven nearby as well. just beside petronas station. one of the best hotels. got spa as well beside the hotel. so everything that u need is there and at below rm100. room is new and very comfortable. got lcd tv, free water mineral bottles. toilet very clean. "The hotel is located close to the famous night market, & though breakfast is not provided, the food in Bentong is affordable and delicious. We were late for the check in at the hotel, but, the owner was really nice to give us an upgraded room - which was breathtakingly gorgeous (stone wall, beautiful wooden floors & the view outside, we had a koi pond & some greenery, - the view was stunning. Will be back for more. The owner of the place, used to be an architect in US & returned back to Bentong to design his dream resort. We felt right at home with the hospitality of the staff to the room's decorations to the owner's friendly chat with us. Please do drop by! This is place is worth the visit. "

"Highly recommended. If you are looking for a quite place, peaceful and surrounded by nature, this is the best place to stay. We were checked in last Sunday but there was no one there except their staffs. It took 5 mins walk to go to the nearby river. There was no variety choice of breakfast (probably there was no one except us!) but still tasted good."

"To be honest, after reading the reviews from internet, i hesitated to book. But this hotel was the best located for the purpose of my stay ( actionasia event malaysia 50 race) Then i decided to give it a try. Booking was smooth. I received a pdf file with all the resort's policies. no surprises regarding late checkin or anything else. Check in was smooth. eventhough the staff got very limited english skills, he was very nice, and wanted to be sure everything was clear. The room was very clean. of course, it's not the most modern compared to KL center but I feel it's still ok for such a remote location. Room got TV, fan. my room did not get AC but no surprise: i knew it. Toilet and shower were really clean. with some soap / shampoo provided. Check out was smooth. i could stay a little longer than 12 as i came back late from the race to take a shower. Overall staff was very friendly, organizing taxi back to KL for me. "

"Planned as a transit trip while moving to other city. However it's a little bit different from conventional hotel / resort stay. I'll say that this resort stay is seriously suitable for family or friends gathering party, as the awesome facilities is meant for that. May try to google their website and get more information about it. Book thru Agoda is only meant for overnight stay, resort's activity and facility is not included. So I will return to this resort later with my brother band. The location is about 10-15 minutes from town area, so pls be prepared of food and other necessity before pop in. Pro: real tranquil natural place to rest and to have fun Cons: far from town area for daily supplies Another good point is, welcome to Bentong, the Durian town. They sell tasty durian and may join their Durian buffet if got the date correct!!"
