"i stayed at shakira resort for a long weekend. the location is ok, with 2km to the lovely south beach. downtown kenting with a great night market and good restaurant and bar options is about 6km away. the main surfing beach is about 10km away. shakira has good clean rooms. a pool and beer garden. the staff is very helpful and friendly. breakfast though is not good. but at south beach or just around the corner, there are several good options. "
