Convenient ”
Stayed one night as it was close to airport. Beautiful hotel , close to a very nice grocery store ,buy your souvenir foods here, as the Florence airport was outrageously expensive! Had our dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. Room was sparkling clean and a large, comfortable bed with crisp white sheets was perfect for a good nights sleep. A/C kept the room cool in the 37c heat! Very happy with our last night in Italy.

The hotel is right in front of the tram station making it very easy to reach any places in Firenze. The front desk staff was friendly. When we checked in the gentleman kept apologizing for making us wait as he checks our reservation in the system (we didn't feel we waited that long). Breakfast could use some improvement. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Awesome value”
We know this hotel is not near Santa Maria Novella station and all the points of interests but what sealed the deal was we were looking for a nice room for our 4 nights stay, with a budget. It did not disappoint. The room smelled so good! every single time we arrived in our room. Modern bathroom with an elegant vanity with big mirror and a bathtub, comfortable king bed and more space for our 3 luggages. Breakfast is underground and the restaurant layout is warm and welcoming. Spread did not change throughout our entire stay but all food are tasty (croissants cakes cereals breads coldcuts fresh juices tea coffee fresh fruits etc. It is about 15 mins tram ride from SMN but it's not a problem for us because the tram was never too crowded eg we always got a seat for us. There is a big supermarket just beside the hotel where we shopped for Italian chocolates snacks etc, and there's also a big park just across the road for jogging or just an afternoon stroll. Again, though it requires 30 minutes to go back and forth after sightseeing, we would rather stay here than in a small, cramped, noisy room in city center hotels. We would choose this hotel again next time we're in Florence.

Excellent n comfortable. Location fair with tram to town centre ”
Very good and recommended. Room is nice, clean n beautiful decorated. Supermarket next to hotel. Breakfast was good n eat as much as you can. Hotel free Car parking is limited to only 6 space, early bird get parking space or else need to park in front of hotel or side road parking. Take 15min by Electri tram to central where you can walk to all locations cost €1.50 each one way. Make sure you have coins and €5 note only.

Supermarket behind the hotel. ”
Location is calm and convenient. You can buy everything in good price at the back of the supermarket. Only a bus no. 22 can be taken to the railway station and old town. Room is big and clean as well as beautiful but the TV is rather small.

Good stay, but...few issues”
Good things: comfortable bed, 15 min by tram to city centre, tram station in front of the hotel. Bad things: garage they advertise as free parking was full so we had to leave our car on the street and pay parking. Some areas in the room had stains and require chemical cleaning or repainting (suitcase table and bathroom wall). No vegetables at the breakfast.

A very clean and nice hotel to stay in. Taking T2 tram from Stazione di Santa Maria Novella, it is about 10mins ride. It cost Euro1.50 per person, for a good 90mins validity. The stop is just in front of the hotel. You can buy the tickets at the ticketing machine at the tram stop, or at the hotel front desk. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Next to the hotel is a big supermarket. It takes 10mins tram ride to reach all the tourist attractions.

Beside the hotel there is a shopping center where you can buy your food, quite cheap. Hotel is clean and big although a bit pricey and no breakfast included (room price >150 euro) Not sure about the facilities as we have no time to explore Has its own free carpark place outside the hotel but limited space

Luxurious and Comfortable Room”
First timer in Florence, decided to choose this Hotel according to the reviews that it has good parking space, comfortable rooms, american breakfast and free wifi in Lobby. The reviews were right. Friendly staff in the concierge, and quick check in. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. It was the best bacon I ever had in a buffet breakfast! It was juicy and tasty. Parking shouldn't be a problem. The hotel has it's own parking area, and even if it's full, you can park your car on the street for free. There is a big supermarket right behind the hotel. That's a big advantage. One last point: the hotel is 6 km away from the city center, but there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel.

The location of the hotel may be an issue for sole traveller. The hotel is located 20-30 min bus ride from city centre. We reached SMN train station and the bus stop for #22 towards Novoli is located at far opposite of the train station. We need to walk and cross over few busy roads with our huge luggages and this was not an easy task. Other than that, it was quite a pleasant stay. The frontdesk service was pretty fantanstic! All our enquiries were properly addressed, and the staff really helpful to give us additional options how to travel around within Florence with sense of humours. Bus #22 stops quite frequent (few minutes for one but Sunday may take longer time to wait). Hotel room is quite cosy but not too spacious. Basic amenities are provided. Free wifi is only provided at lobby, which was a bit disappointment. Overall pleasant stay in Starhotels Tuscany

Perfect stay!”
Great stay. We really appreciated the modern room design and level of cleanliness in the hotel, which is hard to come by in Europe for this budget level. This is in a decent location with easy access to public transportation into center of Florence. Hotel should provide free wifi though, that was slightly inconvenient.

Nice hotel with big rooms”
This hotel's location is very strategic and their rooms are quite big considering this is the first of the many Starhotels built in Europe. The downside is that their wifi service is only free in their lobby. So you would frequently see quite a number of guests downstairs utilizing their wifi.

Beautiful Hotel, Friendly Front Desk Personnel”
Our room was awesome! The hotel's room service was on time and very nice. Of course as with any upscale hotel it was a bit pricey. The only complaint I do have however, is there wasn't a lot of parking space within the hotel's parking lot. I would estimate about 12 cars being able to park there at a time..but it is very possible to get a parking spot of your own. We enjoyed our stay and this hotel is definitely where we are staying when we visit florence again.
