We stayed at the Victorian by Stevrena Accommodations. We surprisingly had an upgrade upon arrival. They prepared a bigger rooms for us, it smells good and the place is very clean! They gave us a quick tour of the place as they just opened this year! We appreciate the smiling staff who even allowed us to have late check out. We enjoyed the place and the small chats we had with the staff. We plan stay here by again and bring with us a bigger group. I definitely recommend this place!

In general, the place is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, the tables are full of cobwebs and ants, the mini terrace was too dusty, and the space in front of our house is intended as a place for fallen leaves and garbage. The rooms are not located in front of the beach, although it’s just a 5-minute walk. The room is okay, fully functional AC and TV but the floor tiles are too sticky, the comfort room lacks exhaust. Although towels are given, no toiletries are provided. Cabinets and hangers are too dusty to place clothes on, the blankets have an awful smell. Written in the ad is a kitchen, but it wasn’t available and let us use a rusty barbecue grill. On top of these all, the staff were really rude and it seems like they do not want to assist us in anything. There are other rooms in Bantayn Island that cost less but could give you a better value than our stay here.

Sorry you didnt like Stevrena Cottages and have posted a unjustified review,our cottages are set in a property that has many plants and trees ( hence the reason for fallen leaves and mosquitoes ) maybe we should have had a staff member situated out side your cottage 24/7 to remove each leaf as it fell.and to flap away any mosquitoes that came anywhere near you. Its only natural to get some dust on outside furniture, we clean each time someone checks-out it maybe because you checked-in late that a small amount of dust accumulated on the outdoor furniture!!. At no point do we state that Stevrena cottages are located in front of the beach maybe you should read the listing fully before booking. . I find your comment on the staff, rude and arrogant, you were told at check-in and is also stated in our listing that check-out is at 11.00 am, we had guest waiting for two hours to check-in, you were asked to vacate the cottage but refused to until 1.00 pm thats why the bad review.

No toileteries or toilet paper, there was a pile of rubbish next to our unit. Beds was ok but the sofa bed was really uncofortable.. for this quality it should be half the price.. staff was lovely though.. Location was quite close to beach and center..
