Beautiful place in the Old City”
For us this lovely Hotel was exceptional and perfect in all matters: nice stuff, perfectly organised, clean and very well equipped, sense of culture and historically integrated in between the monasteries. It’s a green Oasis with its 200 year old Tamarind Tree in a perfect kept garden. We just enjoyed the place sipping a cocktail at night or the very good breakfast buffet in the morning. Perfect coffee as well, so what else would I wish for a trip to Chiang Mai? A cultural program for those who likes it, exist as well in the afternoons under the beautiful old Tree. Thanks to the stuff for there investment to make all this possible!

I live in Chiang Mai, my mom recently visited for the first time and I wanted to make sure she left wanting to come back. The Tamarind Village Hotel was a HUGE factor in the success of her visit. The staff go above and beyond. The staff at Tamarind Village make you feel welcome and part of a community from the moment you begin your stay. I truly cannot say enough kind words about the staff. One staff member in particular, Candy, showed us to our room and she was inviting and funny! Every week the hotel offers free daily cultural activities - Candy took us on a temple tour, she is incredibly knowledgable of the area, can speak multiple languages, and is clearly passionate about what she does. I go that feeling from the full staff; they all seem to love what they do, Chiang Mai, and the Tamarind Village Hotel. The room was beautiful, restaurant was great, and the pool was relaxing. If you stay anywhere but here you're making a mistake. Five stars.

Memorable Stay”
The hotel is one of my best stay ever. Everything is just marvelous. The architectural detail of the place is very well designed and give me an old Lanna(Chiangmai) vibes. The room is well equipped with a comfortable bed. All the staff is welcoming, friendly, and have lots of activities for us. Tamarind Village will sure be my 1st choice here again in Chiangmai.

I loved Tamarind Village. It was an oasis in Old City and a great location. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Chiang Mai. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety of options. I did hear the dogs barking that I read about but it did not bother me. A lovely visit overall

Tamarind had lots of in-house activities for their guests like a village walk in the morning and daily creative activities in the courtyard. The ambience of the hotel and room (esp. at night) was so cozy and nice it was really relaxing just to roam around the hotel premises. I came on my birthday and the staff treated me with a surprise birthday gift upon checkout! It was a pleasant surprise, just like my stay :) If I come back to Chiang Mai I would definitely come to Tamarind, and definitely recommend to anyone who's going!

Absolutely amazing ”
Despite being on the main road, the place was quiet and peaceful. It’s located in close proximity to major attractions. The hotel offered interesting activities. My friend joined the morning temple walk and found the guide to be absolutely fantastic. The service was superb in all aspects. Particular thanks to Khun Teera .. whatever feedback or concerns were quickly resolved .. and also had very good knowledge of the history of the city.

It's in the old city, easy assess to those shops or cafes. Extremely friendly staffs and cozy rooms. Can't believe this village was built around 2002, its still very new and clean:) strongly recommended

Unique and luxurious stay in the center of old town”
This place is incredible. It’s right in the middle of everything but is still somehow super quiet and serene. The staff are amazing and thoughtful. The food and drinks are great. Worth the splurge to treat yourself to staying here! They even have little history stories in the rooms so you can learn about Lanna culture and history during your stay.

Perfect stay in old town”
I felt Chiang Mai here. Exterior and interior is really beautiful. And all staffs are very kind and friendly. They have a lot of activities like morning work and everyday different activities that is conducted in the yard. Also, location is really good that Sunday Market is opened right in front of the hotel. I wanna visit here again. Highly recommend :)

Beautifully styled place in the middle of Chiang Mai. I highly recommend to visit this hotel if you like tranquility and excellent food. One point of feedback to the hotel management is that there are more details to look at to fully reset after COVID. However, nothing substantive and it is just a matter of time, I am sure.

It is an oasis in one of the best locations of Old Town Chiang Mai. Note that this facility is not for those who require access assistance. But it is simply a splendid retreat. Food is good and the service is a lesson for others to copy.

It's a Santuary nested in amongst the trees.”
It's just perfect. I can't say one wrong thing with it. With the choas of the streets outside, your transported to a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. Restaurant and pool sit in the middle with accommodation houses scattered around it and the entire site is surrounded by trees and plants.. just perfect.

The tamarind village hotel was a perfect taste of Northern Thailand while being centrally located in Chiang Mai. With a literal walk out the door, it places you in the middle of the Sunday Night market. I would suggest this stay to anyone, solo, couple, or family. Great place.

Gorgeous Heritage Stay”
Amazing! I have visited Chiang Mai over half a dozen times, and this was an amazing luxury option. Very well located, but in a quiet and private location surrounded by old trees. The hotel has spacious grounds with a focus on culture and heritage. If you want to experience something unique in Chiang Mai, stay here! The rooms are very comfortable and immaculate with loving attention to detail: incredibly well-decorated with a modern/rustic feel.

Beautiful escape in the middle of Old Town”
You would never know you are in the middle of the old town! This hotel was so quiet and peaceful! Our room was lovely and clean and we didn’t find it small at all (I was worried after reading other reviews!). Breakfast was delicious and the happy hour options were a nice treat by the pool. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We would happily stay here again!
