We loved staying at this hotel, it was close to everything we needed. The rooms for clean and tidy. Hot showers with great pressure. Our bed was comfortable. Our friends in another room said their beds were a little to firm so the staff arranged to have extra toppers put on their beds and then they were just right. We had a pool access room which was wonderful to have the pool right outside our room. There was another pool as well. Breakfast was fine, nothing to rave about but certainly better then many places. The selection was not huge at breakfast, but it was fresh and tasty. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.

You know how when your looking at Hotels and have no idea how they fit into the cities framework? This one is perfect . Nothing to look at from the inside but decadent and beautiful from within. Awesome courtyard and pool. Nice bar poolside. Great staff and food is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is included with your stay. Close to all amenities and has a great bar and restaurant called Annie’s right next door

Top notch hotel”
Do not hesitate to book this hotel! I have expensive five star taste but at the same time, love a great deal. We stayed at Thai Akara for six nights and could have easily stayed another six! It is located in a central part of Old Chiang Mai and was convenient to all sights. It is tucked away from the street so it’s quiet and peaceful. I can’t say enough about this hotel and the staff. They were extremely attentive and strived to make our stay a memorable one. The daily (free!) breakfast was excellent and full of variety. Love that we didn’t have to think about where we would eat; it saved us time and money! Book it now! You won’t regret it at all! Remember, I’ve got very expensive taste and high expectations and this place hit the nail on the head!

Lovely boutique hotel”
We stayed here 23Dec2019 and really enjoyed this hotel. It is tucked away in a quiet alley, but the grounds are beautifully maintained. It is within close walking distance of restaurants and the Women's Prison Massage Center. Our room was clean and well stocked with amenities. Breakfast was included and delicious. Staff were very attentive and accommodating of our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved every aspect of this hotel. It has a truly boutique feel, with well appointed and charming rooms, friendly & efficient staff, lovely pool, and excellent location for getting around. This place is an absolutely real hidden gem in the Chiang Mai's old town area! It was really nice, clean, quiet and elegant. They have every single thing you would need for staying in Chiang Mai. I cannot even find anything I do not like about this hotel. Mostly recommended!

Though located in a bustling area, this medium-sized hotel is not exposed too much noise. The staff were very hospitable; they knew how to impress guests and that’s my expectation when I stay in a hotel. Breakfast was good too. Though lacking diversity, the quality was great; fresh salad and fruits, real juices, taste and portion. Swimming was my favorite part; it can be heated up when the temperature drops. I liked that. Will try to be back!

I stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed every minute ,very comfortable bed,very quiet location the swimming pool was great for cooling down, there's a few nice bars and restaurants close by as well as the walking street market. The staff were also very friendly..I will definitely be back next time.

My husband and I spent a few days of our honeymoon here and it was unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond upon check in and check out. It was great location to the bustle of the city however enjoyed the quiet retreat it provided once in our room. They offered treats in the room to enjoy and definitely a welcomed benefit after a long day traveling to Chiang Mai. The pool was so welcoming after a hot day. I can't wait to return to Chiang Mai and I will definitely be booking here again.

We stayed at the hotel during our honeymoon and it was amazing. Beautiful property, supreme location, kind and helpful staff and great amenities. Downside - we took the pool access room and it was infant of the hotel's second pool - the non heated one. Temp was too cold and it was disappointing that we had to go to the other pool though we paid to be poolside. Also berakefast wasn't a hit. Besides that - absolutely amazing. Would surely love to come back.

Unique experience, Good location and Clean rooms”
Our family of 5 went to Chiang Mai to celebrate my father's birthday and we stayed at Thai Akara for 4 nights. Every staff was so nice and attentive, especially the lady staff who manages the hotel restaurant. The front desk staff were very helpful if you'd need to book cars/restaurants. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in till they waved us goodbye. Will definitely stay at Thai Akara again.

Fabulous hotel in great location”
We absolutely loved the Thai Akara hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with beautiful grounds. A lovely heated pool and a gym. Our room was perfect with a nice balcony and lots of space. The staff were so attentive and we can’t fault anything. The breakfast was also lovely and well worth having. The location in old town is incredibly central. Highly recommend.

We found the hotel excellent, swimming pool was warm and lovely to come back to on a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable able. An excellent location close to the centre, a real little oasis.

This boutique hotel is located at the old city of Chiang Mai, where there are many restaurants and pubs to visit and clubs to dance. The hotel rooms are designed for couples. The best thing in this hotel is the staff, Monica is amazing and hosted us as if we were visiting her own home.

Customer service is 200% here. So kind and one step ahead. Alot of places could take lessons from Thai Akara. If I had only one choice of the last place I could ever stay it would be Thai Akara.

The hotel itself is small but there is such a well architecture, so cozy and beautiful. High ceilings, beautiful bathroom; separate tub and shower with balcony to relax. Staffs are nice and helpful. Breakfast is great and delicious. Nice coffee and tea. I’ll definitely come back again.
