The cleanliness of the hotel is very bad.”
The hotel is pretty good because near the middle of kuching city. But what I do not like here is that in terms of hotel cleanliness is not very satisfying because mattress sheets are never washed or washed. My body is itching and I can not sleep with it.

Clean and comfortable guesthouse in a good locatio”
We stayed in a double room on the second floor (steep wooden stairs) . It was cosy and clean (with big desk, tiny chair, 2 hooks, aircon, fan, two windows) and we heard no street noise at all. Under us, on the first floor was an open common area+kitchen+terrace and the floor consisted of wooden boards only, so we could hear people talking clearly. But it did not disturb us. Each floor has two bathrooms (with toilet and strong hot shower) which were clean and comfortable to use. Reception is open until 7pm, you get a card for access. All the staff members were friendly and on our check out day, the lady let us store our luggage until the evening and even called a taxi for us. We enjoyed our stay. This hostel is a friendly, clean and cheap place situated right in the middle of the waterfront. Terima kasih :)

Musty but cosy and comfortable”
I stayed here for many days in the 4 bedroom female dorm in the 2nd floor. I was lucky to have the dorm to myself most of my stay, l enjoyed the quiet and space to myself very much. Love the freedom that the staff allows us guests, and grateful for the convenient toasts for breakfast. The cleaning aunty is also very friendly, helpful, and does her best to keep the place clean. Smoking is allowed only on the first floor open air area, but smell of smoke is strong and doesn't escape well. The front double room has a great view but is plagued by the sound from the traffic lights outside for pedestrian crossings. But overall, I had a great stay and will return if need.

Everything is good except......”
Everything is good for the price, clean bathroom with hot shower, comfortable bed. BUT aircond in dorm only available from 7pm-9am, staying in room during daytime would be scorching hot because of the weather. AND, they gave me a torn pillow case.

Strategic,beyond expectation”
Near to the river,Chinese museum,textile museum,Chinatown etc The staff was very helpful and informative,highly recommended for backpackers,even the standard room with sharing bathroom was comfortable for both of us.

Nice and cheap hostel”
Hostel is located next to 'Chinese street' with bars and cafes and close to the river with all type of night life happening. Bathrooms were the only disappointment - toilet and shower in one tiny place? come on!

Cheap but a bit shabby”
Cheap but a bit shabby. Pics look way better than the accomodation actually is. I left after one night and moved to another hostel in kuching. Staff, however, is super friendly.

Hostel is good. Strategic location. But cleanliness is not as expected as I cannot sleep all night due to mites. At first, I thought it was mosquitoes but later i found that it was mites that causing severe itchiness and swollen to my body (legs and trunks). Hope that hostel management can overcome this problem as it is really irritated.

It is located in the city centre, yet there are some pubs/clubs nearby, and it was quite noisy at night if your room is facing the street.

all good BUT! not really clean”
the location a bit hard to find, as the sign is almost hidden, i walked around and passed by for few times and didnt realised it. not until i look on google map. hahaha! its totally different compared to what you see over the web. all good except for the cleanliness of the mixed dorm. a bit, a bit only, smelly... and only sit and lie down for 2mins, i gt rashes over all my body. red spotted spreading and its damn itchy! oMG! i rushed down to counter, explain and then asked for refund, they r okay as they understand and looks like they had this kind of situation frequently.

Cleanliness to be improved ”
I stayed in mixed dormitory. My whole body was bited by bed bugs. They don't even take any actions to clean my bed. At the end, I have to wash all my clothes and do all the preventative actions to stop it from spreading through my bag and clothes. I have to buy some medicines from pharmacy to stop the itchiness.

esta bien”
esta un poco mas dejado de lo que aparenta en las fotos. el suelo esta guarro y el desayuno es pan de molde barato con una mermelada sintética. Por lo demás es acojedor y los huéspedes son muy amables.
