              Unique property, lovely room, comfortable bed, lots of storage and coat hangers, staff friendly and booked reliable transfers too and from airport. Working air-con. Great bar next door. Reasonable price.
              Very noisy and busy street but when shutters and windows closed it was fine. Shower too low for my 6ft 5 boyfriend but did have a hand held one, fine for me.

              The check in was very unorganized. No opportunity for check in after 8 and after pleading with the concierge there is a late check in fee added on.

              Definitely not “royal””

              Dirty towels and bedsheets, AC unit turning off on its own every 2-3 hours during the night, squeaky bed, smell of stale water in the bathroom. We asked to cancel our reservation for the second night we booked because of all these problems. We only received back a voucher to go back although we said we would not be back in Rome any time soon, therefore they were ok with keeping our money even though they were clearly at fault. They said the made changes to avoid situations like this to happen in the future. I hope so for future guests.
