Perfect Vernazza Stay”

Such a cute little apartment! It is tucked away on a pretty side street so you are still in the center of town but you don't feel like you're on top of everything. The view from the balcony was very pretty and I enjoyed having coffee in the morning there. The kitchenette was convenient and having tea at the apartment was very nice. The host was incredibly kind and met us to walk us to the apartment (which is good because I never would have found it the first time on our own). We really enjoyed our stay in Vernazza.
The bed was a bit firm but that is mostly personal preference.

The apartment was well equipped and very nice. A very comfortable place to stay the night. Great balcony!
There are A LOT of stairs, which wasn't mentioned anywhere. Avoid getting there with heavy luggage. Staff- had to wait for the owner for 15 minutes for the key, and in order to pay by card you have to get to their office which is located in a different place.

Disappointing Stay in Vernazza”

It was nice to have Barbara meet us at the train station. The studio was clean.
The studio did not look as nice in person as it does in the pictures. The towels in the bathroom are worn and frayed. The bed is very hard. The bed was made with one bottom sheet and what appeared to be two top sheets. No duvet or bedspread. There was only decaf instant coffee (no regular). The handle on one of the patio doors did not work. There are 85 steps (interior and exterior) from the street to the studio floor. I was told by Vernazza Vacation to park in Levanto at the train station. It cost 24 Euros/day. There is no shuttle to Vernazza Vacation as indicated in the Booking “Important Information.”

Our host made it very easy for us upon arrival. We had everything we needed and quick responses for any questions we had. Very nice to have the balcony and partial ocean view. Great location as well - only a few minutes walk from the train station.
The balcony doors seemed a little hard to open and close.

Excellent location. Large balcony, good size room and facilities.
Bed and pillows were hard although pillows were changed on request. Lack of handrail between levels on steep stairs. Lack of light switch at top of common stairs.

Wish we could have stayed longer”

The apartment is fantastic with a spacious bedroom and kitchen with a beautiful balcony overlooking the old town and a bit of the sea, The early check in is very helpful especially with carrying luggage
Stairs to reach the building then stairs to reach the apartment then stairs to reach the room was exhausting with the luggage that we had, I wasnt prepared for cash payment on arrival so bring cash otherwise you have to go out of your way to the office to pay by card

View is awesome, though not an expansive ocean view. The patio is really nice.
It's a bit of a hike into Vernazza. It's quaint (small) and a little hard to get to, but don't let this deter you.

Ideal base for exploring the Cinque Terre”

Great, central location. Really nice balcony with view. Perfect amenities (e.g., very nice to have a small fridge and stove). Exceptionally clean. Air conditioning works well and was a welcome feature during the warmest parts of the day. Wonderful value for price.
Hard pillows and very firm mattress, rough bedsheets.
