Our host Francesco was absolutely lovely and reacted fast to all questions that we had. He welcomed us with wine, snacks and water which is sth that is not taken for granted. The appartment was beautiful and had a roof top that was accessable for us. Our stay was just fantastic! Thank you Francesco.

Amazing high ceiling apartment, with a living room. Tiled floor, and nicely decorated makes you travel in time. Very good mattress, and shutters for a comfortable night Central location but quiet Great communal terrace to see the sunset
No breakfast due Covid-19. Of course we understand certain measures had to be taken, but we believe something could have been arranged.

The location was excellent. It is in a very old(from the 16th century?) building which was renovated. The staff was helpful and courteous.
What made it interesting and quaint also made it inappropriate for anyone with even slight mobility issues. There are no rooms on the first floor, and there is no elevator.

Great Location in the Old Town of Lecce”

Really enjoyed our stay here at Vicodella Cavallerizza. The place has been lovingly restored. The room was spacious, bathroom great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Communication before and during the stay was great. The balcony is small, but there are lots of common areas. The roof deck has sweeping views of Lecce. No elevator, but staff to help carry your bags, which helps for us retirees. The breakfast is table service, not the usual buffet. Note that the staff leave late morning, so your on your own after that. It&#39;s located in the old city so the drive in is &quot;fun&quot; - Google Maps handled it just fine. Parking is in a lot that is a few blocks away, outside of the old city (5 eur&#47;night). Loved the location - right down from the Duomo and an easy walk to the rest of the old city. Also easy to get to the nearby student neighborhood, where we ate at La Succersale (go there!).

I found the bed uncomfortable and the fridge in the room was loud through the night, but I am a light sleeper. The towels were rough and need replacement.

Lovely B&amp;B in Lecce”

Breakfast was lovely - you could choose from a menu. We booked quite late and were greeted by the owner&#39;s mother in law who was very friendly and helpful, despite limited English. We had hoped to converse with the owner re arrangements and what to do in Lecce, but he was away a lot of the time (due to the arrival of a new baby!) we were there. However when we was there he was very helpful. The place has been beautifully restored and converted to a lovely B&amp;B in a good location. Restaurant suggestions were good too. Lecce is a great town to walk around and don&#39;t forget to have an ice cream! We had a standard double room with a shared common lounge and balcony which made it quite economical and affordable. I think the rooms with kitchenettes may be larger and pricier. Our room was large and had lots of character and was very clean. Would certainly recommend staying here.
The room was quite hot and hard to cool down due to the high ceilings of the bedroom. Also every time you opened the balcony door it cut off the aircon which I took a while to realise. Once we sorted that, it was much better.

We liked everything about the property! The staff were especially attentive and helpful. We did have a problem finding the property in the dark arriving by car but a call to the property got us rescued in short order. One small complaint- the bed wasn’t that comfortable due to some kind of lump on the right side (when facing the headboard). In 3 weeks this was our favourite property. We would definitely go back. Breakfast was amazing!

What a wonderful place to stay! Fantastic location, really lovely and helpful members of staff. They also give you a parking permit so you don’t need to pay an extra for parking. They were so incredibly accommodating. They also let us check in early at no extra cost. Really wonderful experience! Also incredible value for money!
