If you go to Taman Negara, stay here!”

Front row, overlooking the river to the National Park. Fantastic views from room and terrace. Very nice staff, truly making you feel at home and welcome whenever you enter the property. Very social hostel making it easy to get to know others. You simply cannot stay closer to all the restaurants at the riverside and the boat pier.
No towels.

We had the best time at Wild Lodge. It has the perfect location, right next to the river, 2 minutes walking distance from restaurants and shops. The rooms were super comfortable and clean, so were the bathrooms. The best of the best was the owner Jason though! He really made sure everyone was happy and was always good for a chat and laugh. Thank you so much for everything Jason, it was a pleasure! Until next time!

Best place to stay when visiting here”

Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Taman Negara. It is very close to the park, the beds are comfortable and the owner is friendly and honest. Bathrooms are clean as well. The outdoor lounge area is the best part as it has a great view and people from nearby hostels came here to chill. They even have a water dispenser and shoe dryer. Male sure to bring a towel tho as it's not provided.

Good location with a river view. Simple, but nice rooms. Clean and tidy in the rooms, toilets and showers (something that often is a problem in budget-friendly hostels). Jason (the host) helping out with things and creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Great location, great host, great hostel.”

The beds were comfortable, rooms a good size with aircon. Showers and toilets were good and had hot water if you wanted. everything is cleaned every day. Jason is a great guy, really easy to get on with- very friendly and helpful and always asking if you need him for anything. I actually feel spoiled after going here, it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The atmosphere is also great, you alway meet someone you can spend time with there.
Maybe could do with a few more hooks in the room to hang things, but you can also hang clothes outside in the porch if they need to dry.

Perfect location at the river. Host is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and beds are good. The hostel is also rather small so that creates a nice and cosy environment. Sufficient bathrooms and toilets that are also frequently cleaned. No lockers available but you can leave your valuables with the owner and that works well. Coffee, tea and drinking water (both hot cold) available for free, which is great!
There are no mosquito nets, would be helpful if the bunks have these.

Amazing location right by the park with a lovely deck looking over the river. Great wifi, really good showers, and the owner was so friendly and helpful.
We were prepared so it wasn’t a problem but note that the hostel doesn’t provide towels.

Super Hostel for great price”

The host Jason is super friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. The rooms are spacous and the aircon is working well. The view is very nice. You can get hot and cold water for drinking. The rooms were cleaned every day. We booked our night jungle walk with him and we got a great guide who explained a lot. The wifi was also very good. If I come to taman negara I would defenetly come back to this hostel!
The washrooms were clean, but simple, you also just had a small sink.

Cleanliness inside the room is superb. The sheets and pillows smell nice. The aircon is perfect. The bathrooms and toilets are clear and the water heaters function well. The person in charge is very kind and helpful. Free tea and coffee are provided.
The only thing that may not be satisfying for some people like me is the bed. I am 180 cm and the bed just fits me. So, if you are a few cms taller, you might be in a trouble. Also, because the beds are wooden they make sound whenever your roommates rolling during the night which could disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper like me.
