Best hotel I have ever stayed at ”
I have stayed at over 200 luxury hotels in my life and this one is just the best. The river view suite was fantastic, very well laid out with many interesting design touches. The pool is beautiful and with a full service bar, the restaurant is excellent (both breakfast with free glass of champagne and dinner, with Michelin star food at affordable price). Most of all, the staff is very helpful, the service is fast and goes beyond expectations as soon as you step in.

Perfect relaxation at the river”
We spent a full week in X2 Riverside, so we learnt to appreciate the service and facilities of the hotel. The rooms are cleaned twice a day. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom very big. So 2 people have plenty of space. We had the breakfast included and were looking forward to it every day. It is à la carte and offers asian and western dishes. There is also Prosecco included every day. Before noon or in the evening the pool area is recommended for a dip. Oxygen is also a fine dining restaurant in the evening. Make sure Chef Alex is there on the day you go, he will explain and recommend all of his creations. As the hotel is not in the city center you would have to rent a car (parking is available) or use GRAB, a local taxi hailing app. The only little thing we could find on the downside is, that some days tour groups are coming for Afternoon Tea, so one area of the hotel might be less accessible.

Really nice hotel in Chiangmai!”
Location wise it is in the city, near the river Ping. We rented a car so there is no problem about transportation. Opposite us is a famous khao soi shop farham, it is very delicious. Nearby is khao soi samur jay - another famous shop. Location is quite central. Internet is fast. Room is nice design. Bed is very comfortable. Behind the hotel is river Ping. The hotel has kayak which we can use for free. I loved the breakfast so much. It is very delicious and has many variety. Loved the honeycomb! Not buffet type but special order. Hotel is not big, and when we go there is low season so is very quiet and private. There is a gym on the top floor with a swimming pool. Have spa as well, didn't use the facilities though. The swimming pool is not that big but is OK. I loved this hotel and definitely will come back here as this is now my favourite hotel in chiangmai. The hotel restaurant oxygen is michelin starred, recommend to come for lunch for cheaper options but is delicious!

A real value-for-money experience. ”
This is my second time to Chiangmai. Not completely new but not totally familiar with the town. I'm most impressed by the hospitality demonstrated by the reception staff - who was always willing to help whenever I asked for it. The restaurants and elephant tour that they recommended us were rewarding and never disappointed us. The hotel breakfasts we ordered were not only served like an artwork - they were very savoury. Hotel staff even offered breakfast box when we had to set off and join a tour in the early morning. I was prepared to settle for less due to the lower hotel price vis-a-vis other luxury hotels. My 4-day experience with X2 exceeded my expectation totally.

Impeccable! This is One of our Best/Fvourite Stay/Resort!”
Our experience was more than excellent. Initially, we were badly shocked by the bad air pollution and felt very uncomfortable being there. After the resort knew about this, they bought a new air purifier to place in our room. Thereafter, we also saw air purifiers being placed in the reception and dining room. Thank you so much to GM Ewan and the team at Front Desk and very sorry for the bad review we gave after being rejected to get refund for early check out as we booked at non-refundable rate with Agoda.com. Thank you so much for making our not so enjoyable trip special due to the great hospitality of everyone including GM Ewan, Head Chef Alex, Front Office Khun Boony, Becky, Pure and Khun Tae at the dining room. Ala carte breakfast was what I looked forward to every day. Many options and delicious! Thai set dinner was a great experience too. Design of resort is tastefully done, including the "ancient" red car, Oxygen and the outdoor around it and the swimming pool area!

Modern Hotel, with a spacious room. Staff are always very warm and polite. The entire stay was perfect. Good for couples / girls trip. Lovely breakfast with very attentive staff who remembers you. Location is away from the Old Town - but a shuttle bus is provided and ample of Grab cars a few minutes away upon requesting for one.

No disappointment !”
I selected this property for its riverside location and decoration style and I’m not disappointed. The overall feeling is spacious from the 4-storey building set back from the river , given the large lawn to see and breathe. Room is in good size with excellent big bathroom ( this riverview suite has shower room with no bathtub which I don’t use anyway , so it’s fine ). Good size balcony. Mattress is alright, pillows could be improved though. I stayed on 4th floor , convenient to walk up to rooftop pool and gym. Great pool ! Gym is on the small size. Breakfast is very generous, with 2 main dishes to choose from big variety menu. All in great quality. I can definitely return for my next trip to CM !
