A gem of a place, the lobby of Yuu Hotel has the old world charm of Europe: marble floor, huge floral arrangement, high ceiling, professional espresso maker, as well as homemade bakery and ice cream. The breakfast area is equally charming, serving with silverware and Delftware. So heavenly !! In so many hotels, a charming opening leads to a let-down when you go to your room. But not here at the Yuu Hotel: well-appointed corridor leads to a tastefully decorated room with extra thoughtful touches throughout. And if 7-11 provides your sustenance as it does mine, do not fret: no need to walk a mile to the southeast corner of the park (surrounded by moat) for a convenience store. Just 100 yards south of the hotel is Ubon Plaza which is priced to compete with Big C and Lotus. If there is a weak spot, it would be in the WiFi service which demands signing in after you come back to the hotel from someplace else. Yet, the same ID and PW which worked previously refuses to work again. So, down to the front desk where the lovely ladies cheerfully provide several more slips. Perhaps the wise hotel owner will personally experience this hassle and will find a different WiFi provider which gives a “Remember Me” button upon the first and only log-in? Speaking of weak spot, I have taken 7 photos of this lovely hotel to share with potential visitors. Have up-loaded them five times; only 1 got through. Not sure if there is a limit on the number or the total size. If there is, why not announce the constraints?

Yuu Hotel is a good economy hotel (3.5 to 4-star) that has a great location, warm family-run hotel ambience and is very, very clean and hygiene minded. Probably the best hotel in Ubon in terms of price, value, location and cleanliness. Gets 5 stars or a 10/10 from me. With two thumbs up to the owner and staff. I have no links to the hotel and this is my unbiased review. The only thing I would like is for the staff to know a little about the dining in the neighbourhood.

Staff are amazing”
Having a very long stay (18 nights) at the Yuu Hotel I would highly recommend staying here. The facilities are good however it’s the location and staff that make the stay special. Rooms are very good. Clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom isn’t huge but it’s okay. It’s located close to the city’s park which has fabulous food markets at night. Breakfast is also very good. The hotel has a cafe with good coffee. If you come to Ubon then I’d recommend.

Convenient, clean, & customer oriented!”
I stayed at YUU hotel for 1 night and have only good things to say. There’s a small parking space behind and infront of hotel which is convenient. The location is great with nice local cafes at walking distance. Room is clean & the staffs were super helpful. They have a cafe attached at lobby & great space to chill. Breakfast selection is also good. Definitely would recommend!

Good experience on last day stay in the town. Room is nice and clean. Location near walking street and 15 minutes taking taxi to Airport. All staff is polite and have good service mind. Bathroom is little bit small but still ok for me. In overall very worth money.

Chic and convenient”
It is an elegant boutique hotel, decorated with many ornaments which are good for people who like to take photographs. The location is very easy for going to and coming from the airport. it is also close to the most famous public park of the city. But I couldn't find any covenient stores around. The room was clean and they offerred me many choices of pillow for individual wellness. The in-room facility and amenity were adequate. The breakfast was good, serving both buffet and a-la-carte manu . For a-la-carte manu, one choice for one bed. For example, I stayed there alone but reserved a 2-bed room so I could order 2 a-la-carte menu (How fair!).

RM 510 was excellent! ”
We are happy we stayed a second time! We previously stayed in RM 202 and the bed was uncomfortable and room had a musty smell. RM 510 was super! Fresh, clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only recommendation would be to open breakfast at 6:30a instead of 7:00a. Many flights from Ubon Ratchathani leave very early and it would be nice to enjoy some coffee or even the excellent breakfast before leaving for the airport. Thank you YUU staff you always make our stay an excellent one!

We stayed in the VIP Room and it was such a cute lovely, clean room with a lot of character touches. And a very comfy bed which is unusual for Asia. Very nice breakfast and attentive, kind staff. Will definitely be staying again next time in Ubon!
